Does anyone have speculation about how the subjective experience of the simulation releasing you feels?

I'm far too old for schizophrenia, but more and more I'm surrounded by subtle voice bleeding through the "regular" expected noises.

Sort of like several nurses administering to you while you emerge from anesthesia, their voices clear but muffled and obviously talking about me.
