>allow

Try not to get hung up on that word. Allow means legally, use whatever word suits you conscience. The point is, redefining terms. Understand this, we allowed them to redefine terms until our country almost went out. What terms?

What a man is in women's sports and Locke rooms

Who decides gender

When an election count ends

What is free speech

What is religious expression or religion

etc…

>So again, who are you to "allow" someone to get married?

Totally missed the point, would certified be a better term for you? Because you get a marriage certificate? Pick one: legal, certified, permit, licensed, allow, lawful. Whatever, it is not the point. The point is, is that you do not redefine terms of established things, instead you create a new thing and define it's constraints or freedoms. Do you understand?
