Posted before. Let's remember that many autists are techies. Once able to be well enough to work, they need jobs. We have them, we just need to take them back.

"That said, it is not the responsibility of the US to sacrifice American jobs just to keep India's economy afloat. If companies actually attempted to train or hire American workers first at a fair wage and could not find enough people to fill necessary positions, then the story on foreign visas might be different. However, until now, there has been no incentive for corporations to try."
Let's hope Trump doesn't claw this back but expands it instead. Hopefully, he's doing it for us and not as a bargaining chip to get Modi to do what he wants. If he does that, he will be, as stated above, sacrificing American jobs.
Let the H-1B's and others go back to India and figure out how to fix India instead of grifting off of the United States.
Remember, this was all set up by a lie:
In the 80's a study that was bogus but used as an excuse anyway (sound familiar?) said America would be short STEM graduates and we need an influx of cheap labor H1B's.

(Link worked earlier, now not. Hmmmm…..related to finding out the whole STEM shortage was a lie? That they did the ground work back then to stifle American excellance?)
And while you're at it President Trump, how about giving back access to education taken away from US students so foreigners could study here? How much aid were they given instead of US students?
