Yes, but Rapture has been attributed with being literally transported beyond earth into outer space to be with God, in an imaginary heaven.

Whereas God is the spirit of creation hovering over the waters (people), on an earth created to be the Garden of Eden.

The term caught up, does not mean Rapture, it means to be one in spirit with our creator.

Therefore at the end of Revelation, Gods final act is to come to earth with his new Jerusalem, a city coming down from heaven to earth, to be our God, with us forever.

Why then would God take us into outer space?
