Indonesia ready to send 20,000 troops to Gaza to defend peace, president says at UNGA
Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim country and has no diplomatic relations with Israel.
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said that he was prepared to send 20,000 soldiers to Gaza as a peacekeeping force on Tuesday during his address at the UN General Assembly.
"If and when the UN, the Security Council, and this General Assembly decide, Indonesia is ready to deploy 20,000 or even more of our sons and daughters to establish peace in Gaza or elsewhere. In Ukraine, Sudan, Libya — wherever peace needs to be established, wherever peace needs to be defended," Subianto said.
He also claimed Indonesia would recognize Israel the same day that the Jewish state recognizes a Palestinian state.
Subianto added that the world must respect Israel's right to live in security, and ended his speech with the Hebrew word "Shalom," which translates to "peace" in the context of his statements.

GOP Rep. Jim Jordan Hypes YouTube Amnesty, But Fine Print Tells a Different Story
House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan claimed Tuesday on X that Google, under GOP pressure, had committed to offer "ALL creators" banned from YouTube for "political speech" the opportunity to return to the platform, but he appears to have simply been lying.
"BREAKING: Due to our oversight efforts, GOOGLE commits to offer ALL creators previously kicked off YouTube due to political speech violations to return to the platform," Rep. Jordan announced triumphantly on X.
Despite Jordan's claim, the text of the document written by Google's lawyers only says that they will "provide an opportunity for all creators to rejoin the platform if the Company terminated their channels for repeated violations of COVID-19 and elections integrity policies that are no longer in effect."
That means the plethora of right-wing figures who were banned over the four years following Trump's election (Red Ice, Nick Fuentes, Alex Jones, etc.) are going to remain banned – just as the Israel Lobby wants.
Fox News Digital on Tuesday asked Google for comment on their new policy change and they responded that they have nothing more to add "besides what was in the document."
"We've had a lot of questions about a pathway back to YouTube for some terminated creators to set up a new channel," YouTube's press account said later in the day on X. "This will be a limited pilot project that will be available to a subset of creators in addition to those channels terminated for policies that have been deprecated. More to come soon!"

Charleston judge accused of having child sex abuse material to remain in jail
Federal investigators asking public to help them identify potential victims
The Charleston County magistrate judge accused of having sexually explicit material depicting underage children will remain in jail after waiving a scheduled detention hearing.
James B. Gosnell Jr., 68, faces charges of possession of child sexual abuse material, according to the United States Department of Justice. It is not clear how many charges he will face in total.
Gosnell was scheduled to appear before a judge on Monday afternoon to seek bond.
But Monday’s hearing lasted for only about five minutes. Gosnell’s attorney, Lionel Lofton, asked the court for two more days to prepare for a preliminary hearing. The judge said that hearing will be scheduled within the next 10 days.
Federal investigators filed a detailed 18-page motion opposing bond for Gosnell that detailed allegations that Gosnell not only possessed a USB flash drive with hundreds of videos of child sex abuse material, but that they found evidence that Gosnell communicated with another man “with a shared interest in pedophilia,” describing “unimaginably explicit conversations” that suggest the judge was romantically involved with the man and that “their romantic interests involved abusing children together.”
In one of those conversations, prosecutors allege that Gosnell and the other man plan a trip for Gosnell to visit him in Florida for the two to “jointly rape and torture” the infant son of a family member of the other man.
The filing also states that Gosnell’s conversations on the app Telegram “reveal numerous instances in which he raped and abused children.”
Prosecutors say in one conversation, Gosnell described abusing a five-month-old in public in his neighborhood and later sent a selfie of himself and a 2-year-old child with the message, “my new buddy.” Court documents allege that Gosnell claimed to have sexually assaulted the girl two weeks earlier.
Conversations reveal that Gosnell described traveling to Puerto Vallerta to have sex with a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old and that other international travel was made for the purpose of engaging in sex with children.

• These red/gray chips show marked similarities in all four samples. One sample was collected by a Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later.
• The properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
• The red material contains grains approxi- mately 100 nm across which are largely iron oxide, while aluminum is contained in tiny plate-like structures. Separation of components using methyl ethyl ketone demonstrated that elemental aluminum is present.
• The iron oxide and aluminum are intimately mixed in the red material. When ignited in a DSC device the chips exhibit large but narrow exotherms oc- curring at approximately 430 C, far below the normal ignition temperature for conventional thermite.
• Numerous iron-rich spheres are clearly observed in the residue following the ignition of these peculiar red/gray chips. The red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted thermitic material and highly energetic.

In late spring of this year, American diplomats in Jerusalem drafted an urgent cable. The war in Gaza, coupled with Israel’s decision in March to block all forms of aid from entering the strip, had left the region on the brink of disaster. A famine was looming, and the U.S. wasn’t doing anything about it.
But that cable never got back to Washington. In fact, it’s not clear whether it even reached the desk of Mike Huckabee, the U.S. ambassador to Israel. In its place, David Milstein — a senior adviser to Huckabee — sent a cable that sounded like “an advertisement for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,” according to two State Department officials with knowledge of the incident.
“It sounded like a propaganda statement,” one official told Responsible Statecraft. As mainstream aid groups condemned GHF for endangering Palestinian aid seekers, Milstein’s report praised the organization for meeting a “humanitarian need.” Roughly two months after Milstein sent his cable, the world’s leading hunger monitor declared a famine in Gaza for the first time.
The previously unreported incident highlights the extent to which Milstein has exerted influence over U.S. policy despite his seemingly modest position as an ambassador’s adviser. In the first eight months of the Trump administration, Milstein has become something of a pro-Israel enforcer, reaching across the State Department to steer U.S. policy and contest any information that casts Israel in a negative light, according to current and former State Department officials who spoke with Responsible Statecraft.
In an effort to strengthen U.S. support for Israel, Milstein has confronted colleagues he viewed as insufficiently pro-Israel, removed content critical of Israel from press statements as well as a major annual human rights report, and tried to get the U.S. government to refer to the West Bank as “Judea and Samaria,” a controversial term often used by supporters of Israeli annexation of the region. Prior to his current role, Milstein worked in various capacities with pro-Israel Republican politicians like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and GOP Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Milstein’s efforts first broke into public view in July, when the State Department fired Shahed Ghoreishi, who was serving as the department’s lead press officer for Israeli-Palestinian affairs.
Milstein, who is the stepson of conservative radio host Mark Levin, had on several occasions butted heads with Ghoreishi over press statements relating to Israel. Following a disagreement over whether to say the U.S. opposed forced displacement of Gazans — a point on which neither President Trump nor his peace envoy Steve Witkoff have expressed a consistent view — Ghoreishi was fired without explanation.
