BREAKING: Reed College has officially terminated its Community Safety Director for giving the identity of Portland Antifa militant Robert Jacob Hoopes to an FBI agent.

A Santa Clarita dentist is defending herself after a viral video resurfaced showing her joking that she gives worse care to patients who aren’t Trump supporters.

Dr. Harleen Grewal, who has built her practice around her open support for former President Donald Trump, is seen in the clip laughing as she describes how some patients react to a “Wall of Fame” in her office featuring Republican leaders and Trump allies. The video was first posted on TikTok two years ago, later deleted, but has recently begun circulating again across social media.

In a statement, Grewal told Key News Network she believes the controversy is being driven by a single individual who first targeted her years ago.

“Just like the Democrats, they make jokes too. We make jokes as well. Like, why can’t we just take a joke lightheartedly? But that was taken to cancel me,” Grewal said. “And the Dental Board did an investigation. They cleared it out and said there was nothing they could find that proved any of that. And now, after a few months again, this has erupted. So I’m obviously linking it back to the same person that started it to begin with.”

She added that the video was originally posted by her own office as part of a series of short clips meant to show her personality.

“I’m a stand-up comedian for pretty much most of my patients too. We joke around. You’ve got to live life. And you’ve got to laugh. Life is too short. So enjoy it as well as you can too. So I don’t think I did anything wrong by making a joke,” she said. “Jimmy Kimmel can joke, but I can’t joke. That’s not fair.”

The video has fueled heated online debate, with critics calling her remarks inappropriate and unethical, while supporters insist she is being unfairly targeted for her politics.

A 10-count indictment was unsealed today in federal court in Brooklyn charging retired New York-based financier, Howard Rubin, also known as “Howie” and “H,” along with his personal assistant, Jennifer Powers, with sex trafficking and transporting women in interstate commerce for sex acts with Rubin. Rubin was also charged with bank fraud in connection with misrepresentations made to a bank in the course of financing Powers’s mortgage for the Texas home of Powers and her husband.

Rubin was arrested this morning in Fairfield, Connecticut and will be arraigned this afternoon in federal court in Brooklyn before United States Magistrate Judge Peggy Kuo. Powers was arrested in Texas this morning and is scheduled to make her initial appearance on Monday in federal court in the Northern District of Texas. Powers will be arraigned in the Eastern District of New York at a later date.
