An ex-educator claiming the de Blasio administration knowingly permitted “racial harassment” against white staffers in the public school system — during anti-bias training sessions and in the workplace — can sue NYC, a federal appellate court ruled this week.

The bombshell decision on Thursday overturned a lower-court’s dismissal of a 2019 lawsuit by Leslie Chislett, a veteran administrator who led the Advanced Placement for All initiative in the city Department of Education. It paves the way for a trial or financial settlement with the city.

“She presented evidence that would allow a reasonable juror to find that the DOE consistently ignored racial harassment of Caucasian employees during ‘implicit bias’ trainings and workplace interactions,” the three-judge panel of the US 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals found.

Chislett has mixed feelings about the ruling.

“While the higher court’s decision is a long-awaited vindication, it does not restore to me the longtime career that I loved and was successful in,” she told The Post.

“I knew at the time that what the DOE and its complicit leaders were doing was horribly divisive and unlawful,” she said, adding that former Mayor Bill de Blasio and his then-Chancellor Richard Carranza’s “anti-white policies were translated by their ignorant leaders into my daily humiliation and ridicule — something that was deeply wounding, and that I will never forget.”

Among multiple instances cited by the judges, a senior executive in the DOE’s Office of Equity and Access was quoted as saying in a diversity training session: “There is white toxicity in the air, and we all breathe it in.”

“Negative generalizations and stereotypes about white people were targeted specifically at Chislett during the trainings” in 2018, the judges found, when supervisors and staffers accused her of exhibiting traits of white supremacy.

“When Chislett disciplined or managed subordinates, she was allegedly called racist and labeled ‘white and fragile,’” the decision states.

“How dare you approach me out of your white privilege!” an underling is quoted as snapping at Chislett, who asked the staffer why she was late to a meeting she was supposed to help lead.

Chislett alleged that several higher-ups – including then-Deputy Chancellor LaShawn Robinson, who is black — ignored or rejected her repeated complaints of hostility, which became “unbearable,” leading her to take a medical leave and finally quit.

“A rational jury could find that the administration condoned the racial harassment,” the decision states.

Chislett’s lawyer, Davida Perry, said, “With this decision, the court has made it clear that discrimination based on race will not be accepted in any form.”

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy announced an emergency action today to “drastically restrict who is eligible for a non-domiciled commercial learner’s permits (CLPs) and commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs)” after an audit uncovered an “imminent hazard on America’s roadways” related to “both a catastrophic pattern of states issuing licenses illegally to foreign drivers” and a substandard regulatory framework wrought with dangerous loopholes.

FMSCA’s nationwide audit uncovered “systemic non-compliance, the worst and most egregious in California.” The agency found more than 25 percent of CDLs were improperly issued in California.

“What our team has discovered should disturb and anger every American,” said Secretary Duffy. “Licenses to operate a massive, 80,000-pound truck are being issued to dangerous foreign drivers – often times illegally. This is a direct threat to the safety of every family on the road, and I won’t stand for it. Today’s actions will prevent unsafe foreign drivers from renewing their license and hold states accountable to immediately invalidate improperly issued licenses.”

The audit cites weak oversight, insufficient training, and programming errors that allowed for CDLs to be issued to ineligible drivers and to drivers whose licenses remained valid after their lawful presence in the U.S. had expired.

The report highlights, “In one shocking case, California gave a driver from Brazil a CDL with endorsements to drive a passenger bus and a school bus that was valid for months after his legal presence expired.”

California has now been put on notice by Secretary Duffy and must, within 30 days:

Pause issuance of non-domiciled CDLs.

Identify all unexpired non-domiciled CDLs that fail to comply with FMCSA regulations.

Revoke and reissue all noncompliant non-domiciled CDLs if they comply with the new federal requirements.

The rule is effective immediately. California has 30 days to come into compliance or FMSCA will withhold federal highway funds, starting at nearly $160 million in the first year and doubling in year two.

“California’s reckless disregard is frankly disgusting and an affront to the millions of Americans who expect us to keep them safe,” added Secretary Duffy. “California must get its act together immediately or I will not hesitate to pull millions in funding. To every other state around the country – find all improperly issued CDLs and revoke their licenses now. We owe it to the American people to ensure only lawful, qualified drivers are operating big rigs on our highways.”

“Moving forward, non-citizens will not be eligible for a non-domiciled CDL unless they meet a much stricter set of rules, including an employment-based visa and undergoing a mandatory federal immigration status check using the SAVE system,” the announcement read.

The audit follows a series of fatal crashes involving tractor trailer semis and President Trump’s Executive Order earlier this year that designated English as the official language of the United States.

When the Obama Foundation snagged a sweetheart deal to build its beleaguered Obama Presidential Center on a Chicago public park, it pledged to create a $470 million reserve fund to spare taxpayers should the project ever go belly up.

But new tax filings show the foundation has only deposited $1 million into the fund and has not added to it in years, with critics saying the empty promise could potentially leave Chicagoans on the hook for hundreds of millions of dollars.

Under its agreement with the city, the foundation was required to create the fund, known as an endowment, in order to take control of the sprawling 19.3-acre section of Jackson Park — often described as Chicago’s Central Park equivalent — where the complex is now slowly rising.

The foundation ultimately secured the public land for just $10 in 2018, under a 99-year deal.

But when former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama turned the sod at the site in September 2021, just $1 million — or 0.21% of the pledged funds — had been deposited into the endowment, and that figure has remained unchanged ever since.

With construction progressing at a snail’s pace and costs ballooning from an original estimate of $330 million to at least $850 million, the lack of progress on the promised endowment has fueled fears the Obama Presidential Center could leave taxpayers holding the can if finances spiral into the red.

It comes as the Obama Foundation’s latest tax return shows its finances under strain with revenue swinging wildly year to year, fundraising shortfalls and unfulfilled donor pledges.

On news that the endowment has largely remained unfunded, Illinois GOP Chair Kathy Salvi slammed the project as an "abomination" while blasting Democrats for potentially exposing taxpayers with the deal.

"It should come as no surprise that the Obama Center is potentially leaving Illinois taxpayers high and dry — it’s an Illinois Democrat tradition," Salvi told Fox News Digital in a statement. "Democrats in this state, when not going to prison for corruption, treat taxpayers like a personal piggy bank giving sweetheart deals to their political benefactors."

The cover-up just got exposed.

Former Chief of the U.S. Capitol Police, Steven Sund, revealed in an interview with John Fawcett on The Great America Show Friday night that he was never told by the FBI that hundreds of their agents were deployed inside the Jan. 6 crowds.

How is it possible that the top cop in charge of protecting the U.S. Capitol, the man responsible for securing Congress, was left in the dark about something this massive?

On Thursday night, the FBI finally admitted that it had 274 plainclothes agents inside the massive Trump crowds on January 6, 2021 — hundreds more than previously reported.

The Blaze reported that congressional sources claimed this was “not necessarily a surprise,” since the FBI often embeds counter-surveillance personnel at large events. But what is shocking is the FBI’s steadfast refusal for years to disclose their true level of presence at the Capitol.

Even worse, the U.S. Department of Justice’s Inspector General declared in an 88-page report released in December 2024 that the FBI had “no undercover employees” inside the Jan. 6 crowds. That claim now looks like another brazen lie.

Former FBI Director Chris Wray lied and lectured House Republicans for accusing the FBI of planting informants/operatives/agents inside the massive crowd of Trump supporters on January 6, 2021.

FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress in July 2023 that he “does not believe” undercover FBI agents were present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Wray’s statement came during a tense exchange with Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ), who specifically asked about the number of undercover agents in the Capitol vicinity on the infamous day.

“I’m not sure there were undercover agents on scene,” Wray responded to Biggs. “As I sit here right now, I do not believe there were undercover agents on.”

Biggs wrote on Twitter that “Wray will be held accountable for this lie.”

Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund told John Fawcett on The Great America Show that he was never informed the FBI was sending agents into the crowds on Jan. 6.

It gets even worse. Fawcett told The Gateway Pundit that during the interview, Chief Sund revealed that on January 5th, just one day before the protests, he met with all the major federal agencies and specifically asked if any liaison would be put in place from agencies that planned to have people there. They didn’t say a word.

Governor Newsom is confused about his role under the U.S. Constitution. He oversees California, not federal agencies. He should review the Supremacy Clause.

California's law to "unmask" federal agents is unconstitutional, as the state lacks jurisdiction to interfere with federal law enforcement. I have directed federal agencies to disregard this state law and adhere to federal law and agency policies.

AnarchistNews, the long-running anarcho-communist propaganda site, popular among Antifa militants and radical leftists, issued a movement order this week instructing "all anarchists across the country" to disrupt operations at ICE facilities in every city and to "celebrate life with fire against the death march of American law and order."

"We invite all anarchists across the country not only to occupy and disrupt operations at ICE facilities in every city, but to celebrate life with fire against the death march of american law and order. With tactical diversity, lets meet in the streets and wage a carnival of war against ICE and all authority!" read a post titled "A Call for Anarchist Action in America," anonymously submitted on AnarchistNews.
