I read Fiona Barnett's article today and zeroed in on the 9 Jun 1983 Fort Meade memo re: Gateway/psychic research.

Then I started digging through the C_A library and found all the declassified research on psychoenergetics, Project GRILL FLAME, CENTER LANE, SUN STREAK, SCANATE, and STARGATE. Also good stuff in there re: psychokinesis and Chinese/Russian research on psychoenergetics.

The SCANATE stuff on remote viewing was pretty amazing. They gave these "remote viewers" GPS coordinates and asked them to tell them what they could see around them. At one point they appear to have had 3 remote viewers who actually conducted operations.

Supposedly DIA handed it off fully to C_A in 1995 and the project was shut down. Bullshit. You don't research something for 20+ years and then go, "fuck it, nevermind, there's nothing here." You do that in 3 or 4 years.

I suspect the program was continued as a deep black op. I realize this is off topic and I'm going back to lurking but I'll be digging on this extensively over the next few days.
