Right, because reporting a likely murder weapon someone tossed is taking up city resources. Aren't cops supposed to care about solving crime? Or are we just forced to pay them to abuse and lecture us for not doing anything wrong?

Exactly. The same reason 8 cops will show up for a report of a someone lawfully recording. If they told the reporter it's not illegal, then they could show up to pad the call response numbers for more funding.

The US Constitution is ignored and violated every single day in this nation to violate the peoples rights, and an ILLUSION of freedom exists.
Tell me, is a homeless person free to live and exist naturally, outside the "system"? Can they go catch a fish in a local lake without paying government for a license? Can they keep and openly bear arms on a city street as their constitution guarantees? Why are people robbed on the side of the road via civil asset forfeiture with no PC or RAS of a crime, in violation of the constitution? Why is the basic right to identify law enforcement, the publics employees, being violated?

Yep. When seconds count, just call police who are minutes away and will show up likely making things worse. Don't protect yourself, don't protect your neighbors, be a victim so they can claim we need more police.
