Russian President Vladimir Putin Orders Largest Fall Conscription in 9 Years, Drafts 135,000 Men

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the conscription of over 135,000 men by the end of 2025.

The conscription by Putin marks Russia’s largest conscription since 2016.

The move by Putin comes just days after Russia’s parliament passed a new bill that will allow the Kremlin to issue a year-round conscription, replacing its current seasonal spring and fall draft.

Men from the ages of 18-30 will be selected to the Russian armed forces, but according to the Kremlin, they will not be activated in the war in Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday ordered the conscription of 135,000 men by the end of 2025, the largest conscription drive in nine years.

During the autumn 2016 intake, Putin ordered the conscription of 152,000 men. In the three years since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, it has drafted an average of 127,000 men every fall.

Russia’s spring 2025 draft called up 160,000 men, the highest since autumn 2011.

Russia holds biannual conscription drives, with men aged 18-30 eligible for one year of mandatory service.

Putin’s decree comes a week after Russia’s ambassador to France Alexey Meshkov noted that if NATO countries shoot down Russian airplanes that violate NATO airspace then a war will ensue.

Meshkov’s remarks came just days after President Trump during the United Nations General Assembly said he believes NATO members should shoot down Russian airplanes that violate NATO airspace.

In an interview on Sunday, Vice President JD Vance shared the U.S. is in talks on selling Tomahawk weapons to Ukraine.

Vance shared,“What we’re doing is asking the Europeans to buy that weaponry that shows some European skin in the game. Here’s how the fake news media is trying to downplay what’s happening. Ken Dilanian suggests the indictment is built on words Comey never actually said… spoiler alert: he said them.

This is the same tired routine we see time and time again. Run cover for the Deep State, smear Trump, and pretend the walls aren’t closing in. Wash, rinse, repeat.

The FBI’s declassified investigation tied Comey directly to media leaks, including classified information he funneled through lower-level FBI officials, and even through his Columbia professor buddy. That professor should be facing charges too, unless he’s cutting a deal to save his own skin.

So no, this wasn’t a witch hunt. It was a long-running cover-up that finally collapsed like a house of flimsy cards. Comey thought he had all his bases covered, even planting family in key positions to shield him. But like every crooked scheme, it was only a matter of time before it all came crashing down.

‘50501’ is a name you might not know right now, but must learn ASAP…

There’s a far-left “anti-fascist” movement calling itself 50501. if you look on the surface, it appears to be some democracy-focused progressive protest network. The name means this: Fifty protests, fifty states, one movement. That is the friendly pitch that shows up in press releases and polite interviews on propaganda media.

But the reality of what’s really going on is dark, demonic, and deadly.

In Reddit groups tied to 50501, members of the group are openly calling for armed retaliation, shootings, and even assassination. And these are not just isolated, fringe outbursts. The screenshots gathered for this report show a consistent pattern of violent talk and direct incitement.

This isn’t about cute little protests to save democracy. These are deadly threats, and Americans need to wake up to what this group is really about ASAP.

Below are clear examples from the movement’s own feeds.These come from threads and accounts that proudly identify with 50501.The language is violent, escalating, and pointed at federal officers, judges, and civilians who disagree with the Marxist “Antifa” ideology.

If you look at these posts just one by one, maybe they could be dismissed as “online bluster.”But when you look at them as a whole, they form a chilling pattern of organized terror. Like other terror groups, 50501 repeats the same phrases, always instructs everyone to “arm up,” and celebrates violence to enforce their beliefs and punish their enemies.

If readers wonder how so many on the far left become radicalized, look no further than Reddit and BlueSky, where the 50501 hate and bloodlust flourish. This violent, terror-embracing culture is a real threat to federal officers, judges, and ordinary citizens who refuse to bend the knee to the progressive gods.

But as with all left-wing groups, there’s a public face and a face that hides in the shadows.

In public, this group looks like polished social activism. They use hashtags about “democracy” and stage protests in cities all over the nation, talking about things like civic duty.

But in private, the mask slips, and the real driving force comes to light. As we showed you, there are calls for assassination, instructions on how to evade law enforcement, and posts that celebrate, promote, and encourage violence.

The left does its most violent organizing through these “decentralized movements.” They provide cover for everyone, because they claim to be leaderless. That’s how Antifa has operated, and why Joe Biden once claimed Antifa was not an organization… it was an idea. That leaderless structure lets dangerous and deadly online chatter spread unchecked on platforms like BlueSky and Reddit. It also hands political leaders, propaganda media, and Hollywood hacks a way to send dog whistles to nameless, faceless foot soldiers who feel they have nothing to lose.

If we’re getting serious about left-wing violence and terrorism, then ourelected officials and federal agencies must stop treating groups like 50501, offshoots of Antifa – a terror group– as harmless activism.

Calls to execute judges, ambush federal agents, and openly “arm up” to attack fellow citizens are a direct threat to public safety. People have to wonder how this kind of violent organization is allowed to fester on sites like Reddit and BlueSky.

Ordinary Americans go about their days while these cesspools of hate swap ideas, stories, and plans to kill anyone who refuses to bow to their belief system. Freedom of speech is important and must be defended at all costs, but it does not give anyone the right to plot assassinations from their parent’s basement. This 50501 group needs to be fully investigated and dismantled, and anyone who provides them cover, including social platforms, should face real consequences.

US set for largest mass resignation in history as Trump continues deep cuts

Federal workers say they have little choice but to depart, with 100,000 leaving under deferred resignation program

The Trump administration is set to oversee the largest mass resignation in US history on Tuesday, with more than 100,000 federal workers set to formally quit as part of the latest wave of its deferred resignation program.

With Congress facing a deadline of Tuesday to authorize more funding or spark a government shutdown, the White House has also ordered federal agencies to draw up plans for large-scale firings of workers if the partisan fight fails to yield a deal.

Workers preparing to leave government as part of the resignation program – one of several pillars of Donald Trump’s sweeping cuts to the federal workforce – have described how months of “fear and intimidation” left them feeling like they had no choice but to depart.

“Federal workers stay for the mission. When that mission is taken away, when they’re scapegoated, when their job security is uncertain, and when their tiny semblance of work-life balance is stripped away, they leave,” a longtime employee at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) told the Guardian. “That’s why I left.”

The total resignation program is set to cost $14.8bn, with 200,000 workers paid their full salary and benefits while on administrative leave for up to eight months, according to a Senate Democrats’ report in July.

Trump officials argue this outlay is worth it. The Office of Personnel Management claimed the one-time costs lower longer-term spending by the federal government. It also criticized job protections of federal civil servants, claiming the government should have a “modern, at-will employment framework like most employers”.

A spokesperson for the White House claimed there was “no additional cost to the government” as employees would have received their salaries regardless of the program. “In fact, this is the largest and most effective workforce reduction plan in history and will save the government $28bn annually,” they added.

The total number of expected departures through the delayed resignation and voluntary separation programs, attrition, and early retirement programs is about 275,000 employees, the spokesman said.

Several thousands of additional federal workers have been fired as part of reduction in force mandates ordered by the administration. The mass exodus is the largest single-year decline in civilian federal employment since the second world war.

Federal employees who took the deferred resignation offer requested to speak anonymously in hopes of returning to the federal government in the future and to protect future job prospects.

They are entering a lagging job market as the unemployment rate in August 2025 ticked up to 4.3%, the highest since 2021, and only 22,000 jobs were added amid disruptions and uncertainty caused by Trump’s tariffs.

“It’s a huge grieving process,” said a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) employee who took the deferred resignation offer. “Myself and many others that I know really hoped that we would finish our careers with the government. We felt very tied, especially in the VA, to the mission.

“Many of us thought we could do better for our clients, for our veterans outside of the VA, and a lot of us were so burnt out from the six months before the deferred resignation that it was actually a mental health decision for many as well.”…

Communicating why they left has been challenging while searching for a new job, the VA employee said. “The job market stinks right now,” they said. “It’s great to not be working 60 to 70 hours a week any more, but you also lose your support system from those that stayed, and from those that may judge you for leaving.”…

They cited comments from Russell Vought, Trump’s head of the Office of Management and Budget, who said of federal workers last October: “When they wake up in the morning, we want them to not want to go to work, because they are increasingly viewed as the villains. We want their funding to be shut down …We want to put them in trauma.”KEK

“This is exactly what happened,” the USDA worker said. “I was scared to go to work. Scared that the next day would be the day I would get fired, or barred from future service, scared I would wait too long to leave and not find a job, and just living everyday like a raw nerve.”

The public vilification of federal workers has pushed many to take the resignation program, the archaeologist suggested, as they were constantly inundated with threats of cuts and firings….

YouTube to pay $24.5 million to settle Trump lawsuit

YouTube agreed to pay $24.5 million to settle a lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump after he was suspended by social media platforms following the January 6, 2021, insurrection.

This makes Alphabet-owned YouTube the last of the three Big Tech social media companies sued by Trump — which included Meta and then Twitter, now called X — to settle over his removal from their platforms.

YouTube will pay $22 million to settle the claims made by Trump to the nonprofit Trust for the National Mall, which is “dedicated to restoring, preserving, and elevating the National Mall, to support the construction of the White House State Ballroom,”

according to a court document.

The social media company will also pay $2.5 million to settle with other plaintiffs, such as the nonprofit American Conservative Union.

YouTube directed CNN to the court document when asked for comment.

Meta agreed to settle Trump’s lawsuit in January for $25 million. X’s settlement in February involved a payment of around $10 million, according to the New York Times.

When they suspended his accounts, the platforms said Trump’s posts about the riot risked inciting further violence. At the time, legal experts said similar suits had been dismissed because tech companies have the right to run their platforms as they see fit.

However, the settlements come as tech giants have taken a more conciliatory, if not outright supportive, approach to Trump and Republican interests since he took office in January.

After Elon Musk acquired X — then known as Twitter — in late 2022, he reinstated Trump’s account; Meta followed suit in February 2023 and YouTube the following month.

Musk, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai all sat front and center at Trump’s inauguration, and social media platform has rolled back content moderation efforts that Republican users had likened to censorship.

Just last week, YouTube said it would reinstate some accounts banned for violating now-defunct rules meant to curb repeated posting of misinformation, including about the results of the 2020 election.
