As previously reported, Pete Hegseth's big Tuesday speech at Quantico, for which some 800 Generals and Admirals from their bases around the world were summoned, focused on the 'warrior ethos' and tightening up discipline among all branches of the military. He also laid out his vision for the armed forces at a moment that two major conflicts rage across the seas: Ukraine and Gaza.

He took the opportunity to declare a reversal of the woke culture which had for too long reigned at the Pentagon during the Biden administration. "No more identity months, DEI offices, dudes in dresses. No more climate change worship. No more division, distraction, or gender delusions. No more debris. As I've said before, and will say again - we are done with this shit," the Pentagon chief emphasized.

"From this moment forward, the only mission of the newly restored Department of War is this, war fighting, preparing for war and preparing to win, unrelenting and uncompromising in that pursuit," he said.

He at one point used the old slogan that goes well back into the Reagan administration and beyond of presenting a national posture of "peace through strength" by the military.

Apart from issuing what has long been the articulated stance of the administration on battling woke trends in the military, one substantive moment came when Hegseth vowed no more nation-building:

"They said 'never again' to mission creep or nebulous end states," Hegseth said. "The same holds true today. Our civilian and military leadership is chock-full of veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan who say 'never again' to nation building and nebulous end states."

He said "this clear-eyed view — all the way to the White House" and Mr. Trump's "military buildup" would posture the U.S. for future victories.

The notice said funding will cover production of launchers, drones, and radar systems, with the contract running through 2033. The system includes the Coyote small expendable drone capable of autonomous or preprogrammed flight for about an hour. Variants are designed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, counter-UAV missions with proximity warheads, and electronic warfare. The US military has been testing the drone for surveillance, strike, and interception roles.

Macrons Allege Candace Owens ‘Doubled Down’ on Gender Lies to Cash in, Build Profile

American conservative commentator Candace Owens has been accused by French President Macron and his wife, Brigitte, of attempting to boost her online presence and cash in by continued public questioning of Mrs Macron’s sexuality.

The Times reports the couple have updated their legal action, brought in July, to describe the way Owens has expanded on her unstinting assertion Mrs Macron, 72, was born male. Their lawyers wrote:

Since we filed this lawsuit, Ms Owens has only strengthened our case by doubling down on, and escalating, her knowingly false and defamatory rhetoric against the Macrons.

She has continued to use her podcast to expand her lies about the Macrons, sell merchandise making fun of the Macrons, and collect donations based on her ‘reporting’.

The Times details Owens, 36, has just this this month launched a new season of Becoming Brigitte, a series she started last year, and has “gone so far as to suggest that the Macrons are involved in an alleged conspiracy to distract Owens from investigating Charlie Kirk’s assassination,” the amended lawsuit adds.

“Owens’s fan base has grown to 7.2 million followers on X and 5.21 million subscribers on YouTube,” the lawyers wrote. “The most popular podcasts in the world have discussed her ‘investigation’ into the Macrons’ history.”

President Macron and his wife launched a 218-page defamation lawsuit against Owens through a Delaware court after she alleged the First Lady was born male.

The couple filed suit in July over “substantial reputational damage” against Owens addressing what they called repeated “falsehoods” by the podcaster that Mrs Macron is in fact secretly a man, as Breitbart News reported.

They describe Owens’ allegations as “outlandish, defamatory and far-fetched fictions” as made in the podcast series that continues to draw millions of listeners.

For her part, Owens has strongly pushed back against the lawsuit, claiming the Macrons are engaging in a “public relations strategy.”

She has vowed to fight to the bitter end, saying: “On behalf of the entire world, I will see you in court.”

Mrs Macron has vowed to present photographic evidence to court to prove she is a woman as part of the lawsuit.

This is not the first time the Macrons have turned to the legal system to combat rumours about Brigitte’s gender.

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk’s assassination on September 10, 2025, allegedly by radical leftist Tyler Robinson, while engaging students in debate on Utah Valley University’s campus, has not moved the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to remove his organization from its list of “Extremism, Hate or Terrorism” groups. However, it continues to defend the Antifa movement, which President Donald J. Trump has designated as a terrorist organization, and insists it is generally not violent.

In its glossary entry for TPUSA, labelled under ‘Extremism, Hate or Terrorism,’ the ADL smears the conservative youth organization as promoting “conspiracy theories related to topics such as election fraud and COVID-19,” and alleges individual associated with it “have a history of bigoted statements about the Black community, the LGBTQ community and specifically transgender people, and other minority groups.” The ADL also says that “white nationalists openly have attended their events” and that “extremists and far-right conspiracy theorists have been featured at the AmericaFest conference and other TPUSA events,” despite a mealy-mouthed disclaimer that “Kirk himself publicly condemned such groups.” Meanwhile, it claims the Antifa organization is merely a “decentralized, leaderless movement composed of loose collections of groups, networks and individuals,” insisting: “While some extreme actors who claim to be affiliated with antifa do engage in violence or vandalism at rallies and events, this is not the norm.” “Persistent disinformation campaigns about antifa distort public perception of the movement,” it complains. Hamas documents recovered by Israeli troops in Gaza allegedly reveal the terror group’s “direct involvement” in an activist mission currently sailing dozens of boats to challenge Israel’s blockade of the Strip, Israel’s Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the ministry claimed that the documents “show a direct link between the flotilla leaders and the Hamas terrorist organization,” especially the group’s foreign arm, the Palestinian Conference for Palestinians, or PCPA.

The PCPA ‏was established in 2018, and according to Israel, “functions as Hamas’ representative body abroad, operating de facto as Hamas’ embassies.” PCPA was designated by Israel as a terror group in 2021, due to its being a Hamas arm.

“The organization operates under civilian cover and is responsible, on behalf of Hamas, for mobilizing actions against Israel, including violent demonstrations, marches against Israel, and flotillas of protest and provocation,” the ministry said.

One document published by the ministry, which was recently found in Gaza, was a letter from 2021 signed by then-Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh, “directly and explicitly calling on the PCPA chairman for unity.”

Billionaire makes accusation in response to post about group’s page on ‘Christian Identity,’ a specific white supremacist theology thatportrays Jews as descendants of Satan

Elon Musk has intensified his long-running feud with the Anti-Defamation League, calling the Jewish civil rights group a “hate group” in a post on X, the platform he owns and renamed from Twitter.

“The ADL hates Christians, therefore it is is [sic] a hate group,” Musk wrote Sunday, responding to a pseudonymous account that had claimed the ADL views Christianity as extremist.

The exchange drew quick amplification from right-wing figures. US Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Florida Republican, accused the ADL of “intentionally creating a targeted hate campaign against Christians.” Provocateur Laura Loomer went further, urging that the ADL be “designated as a domestic terror org.”

At issue is the ADL’s page on “Christian Identity,” a specific white supremacist theology that portrays Jews as descendants of Satan and has been linked to violent extremism.

The ADL, in a statement, explained that the ideology is “antisemitic, racist, and unambiguously poisonous” and bears no resemblance to mainstream Christianity.

ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt wrote on X that the suggestion his group is anti-Christian is “offensive and wrong,” noting that “many of our staff members are Christian. Many of our supporters are Christian.”

The Lords, it seems, are awake to the great menace of assisted suicide, a menace unleashed in Westminster this summer when the House of Commons approved euthanasia after decades of hitherto failed attempts.

Alas, the Lords are now the last line of defense against assisted suicide, and this cold, hard fact did not seem lost on them.

We all have a stake in their cause and their courage. 

“When a nation adopts assisted suicide, it is as a neat procedure to tidy up some sad, messy cases,” Dan Hitchens recently wrote. “Later on they discover it is not a procedure but a living thing, a sea-monster devouring the shipwrecked — the disabled, the mentally ill, the guilt-ridden, the poor.”

Such were arguments from the floor of the House of Lords last week.

‘Finish the Job’: Graham Warns Against Any Gaza Peace Deal That Leaves Hamas Standing

Before President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at the White House on Monday to discuss Trump’s plan to end the Israel-Hamas war, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) made plain what many in the conservative movement already believe: Israel must be allowed to finish the job against terrorist forces that seek its annihilation.

Responding on X to an Axios report that President Trump planned to “squeeze” Netanyahu into a Gaza peace deal, Graham cut straight to the point: “When it comes to terrorist threats, Israel must be allowed to defend itself and finish the job. While I strongly support trying to end major military operations in Gaza and moving toward a new Middle East, it is imperative that this is accomplished in the right way. I do not support ending major military operations if it means that Hamas is not eliminated forever and does not ensure that there will never be another October 7. From my point of view, Israel is not the problem; It is Iran and its proxies that are the problem.”

That X post is more than political chest‑thumping — it’s a manifesto of existential clarity. Graham doesn’t fear negotiation, but a hollow cessation that leaves the terror infrastructure intact. To Graham, tactical pauses that preserve Hamas (or fail to neutralize Iran’s regional networks) amount to strategic failure.

This stance is consistent with a pattern Graham has long championed. In Congressional hearings, he has blasted U.S. officials for withholding weapons from Israel at a moment of peril, framing the issue in stark historical terms — civilian losses in wartime are tragic, but sometimes unavoidable when destroying a mortal enemy. In April 2024, Graham excoriated Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin over delayed munitions shipments to Israel, arguing that restraining Israel’s ability to remove threats would send the wrong signal to Tehran and its proxies. And after the October 7 massacre, he defended Israel’s right to wage total war on Hamas out of necessity to prevent another slaughter.

Trump, for his part, told reporters he was “very confident” his plan would end the Israel‑Hamas war, but Graham’s X post is the reminder conservatives will keep pressing: peace cannot be bought at the price of security.

For Graham and like-minded allies, the equation is simple: eliminate the terror threat, then build peace. Anything less risks another October 7.

‘We’re Heading To A Shutdown’: White House Meeting With Congressional Leaders Ends In Stalemate

“I think we’re heading to a shutdown, because the Democrats won’t do the right thing,” Vance said. “I hope they change their mind, but we’re going to see.”

President Donald Trump and Vance met at the White House Monday afternoon with Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD), House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY). Their goal — to pass a continuing resolution that will keep the government open before October 1 — seems to remain out of grasp.

The seven-week extension will allow time for the appropriations process to take place and will fund the government until November 21. The House of Representatives passed the bill on Sept. 19 by a vote of 217-212. The Senate, however, failed to adopt the continuing resolution by a vote of 44-48. The Senate will need 60 votes in order to pass the resolution.

The leaders spoke with reporters outside the White House following the meeting, but did not indicate any sign of a deal as Republican leaders urged Senate Democrats to pass the continuing resolution which was previously passed by the House.

“We have disagreements about tax policy, but you don’t shut the government down. We have disagreements about healthcare policy, but you don’t shut the government down,” Vance said. “You don’t say the fact that you disagree about a particular tax provision is an excuse for shutting down the people’s government and all the essential services that come along with it.”

Vance said he believes the American people are “going to suffer because these guys won’t do the right thing.”

Schumer said Democrats presented proposals to the president during the meeting and said they shared with him “some of the consequences of what’s happening in health care,” such as “the closing of rural hospitals, the fact that so many clinics are closing.”

“If he will accept some of the things we asked, which we think the American people are for, on healthcare and on recessions, he can avoid a shutdown, but there are still large differences between us,” Schumer said.

Schumer cited “very large differences” between the parties and said the Republican bill has “not one iota of Democratic input.”

He said it is “up to the Republicans if they want to shut down or not.”

Republicans have reportedly called the continuing resolution “clean and straightforward.”

Johnson said Democrats “refuse to acknowledge the simple facts,” and called the continuing resolution a “commonsense thing to do — the right thing to do.”

The Speaker said Democrats previously issued a counterproposal that included $1.5 trillion in new spending “that is unrelated to the ongoing appropriations process.”

“If the Democrats make the decision to shut the government down, the consequences are on them and I think it’s absolutely tragic,” Johnson said.

Trump Admin Blocked From Cleaning House At Voice Of America

A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump administration’s efforts to fire hundreds of employees working for the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM).

U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth blocked Acting USAGM CEO Kari Lake’s plan to lay off 532 employees while litigation over the case proceeds. Most of the employees who were set to be terminated on September 30 worked for Voice of America, a taxpayer-funded international media outlet that Lake has described as “rotten to the core” and “anti-American.”

“The Reduction in Force announced by Defendant Lake on or about August 29, 2025, is SUSPENDED and may NOT be implemented, effectuated, or completed in any way,” Lamberth wrote.

Lake said that the firings were necessary to “help reduce the federal bureaucracy, improve agency service, and save the American people more of their hard-earned money.”

USAGM operates other networks, such as Radio Free Europe and the Middle East Broadcasting Networks.

Lamberth said that the Trump administration did not defend the firings on their merits.

“Rather than providing a rationale for the [reduction in force] on its merits, the defendants instead offer an array of other reasons not to grant relief. But even a cursory examination of the relevant law and key facts reveal these objections are all bark and no bite,” he wrote.

The judge stated that a recent Supreme Court ruling, which allowed the Trump administration to fire hundreds of Department of Education employees, did not apply to this case. He also said that Lake had ignored previous directives from the court.

“The Court must offer an observation on the concerning disrespect the defendants have shown toward the Court’s orders since the entry of the preliminary injunction. It is the Court’s view that the defendants’ disregard for its earlier orders to produce information would more than support a trial on civil contempt,” he wrote.

In a statement to the Washington Post, Lake said that she has “seen a huge ‘disrespect’ from the district courts toward the Executive Branch and the American people who have voted overwhelmingly to support President Donald J. Trump.”

In March, Trump signed an executive order that directed the USAGM to be “eliminated to the maximum extent possible consistent with federal law.”

The Trump administration has argued that agency-run outlets like Voice of America have become increasingly partisan and pushed radical leftist ideologies. In a fact sheet, the White House pointed to reports on transgender-identifying migrants wanting asylum in the United States and “white privilege.”

CHINA has sentenced former Agricultural Minister to DEATH over accepting $38 MILLION in bribes

Tang Renjian accepted cash and property bribes totalling more than 268 million yuan (US$38 million) between 2007 and 2024, the People’s Court of Changchun in northeast Jilin province said in a statement.

The court ruled that the bribes “caused particularly severe losses to the interests of the state and the people, and therefore warranted the death penalty”, adding that Tang had confessed to his crimes and expressed remorse.

Tang’s sentencing is the latest in President Xi Jinping’s sweeping anti-graft campaign that has brought down several high-level figures.

Supporters of Xi’s anti-corruption drive say the campaign promotes clean governance, but critics argue it provides the president with the power to purge political rivals.

Tang previously served as governor of the northwestern province of Gansu, as well as the vice chairman of southern autonomous region Guangxi.

His downfall follows similar graft investigations into former defence ministers Li Shangfu and Wei Fenghe.

Netanyahu's son drops damaging claim about Tucker Carlson's secret ties to Qatar

Benjamin Netanyahu's son has furiously hit back at Tucker Carlson, suggesting that he is being secretly funded by the Qatari government.

Yair Netanyahu was responding to a recent Carlson video titled 'It's time for Bibi to go' in which the conservative commentator claimed that Israel's Prime Minister was telling Arab leaders in the Middle East that he had control over Trump.

'Bibi [Benjamin Netanyahu] is running around the Middle East and telling people, I control the United States, I control Donald Trump,' Carlson told viewers.

Yair Netanyahu hit back hard, writing on X that Carlson was 'Qatar's b****'.

'Tucker just say (sic) any bs propaganda lie, without any source or proof, and expect everyone to believe him, despite him being obsessed about Israel, Jews and Netanyahu for two years and being super bias,' Yair said.

'My dad isn’t “running around the Middle East” saying that s***. He can’t go anywhere in the Middle East these days, and the Middle East Muslim Arab leaders are his biggest enemies!'

Yair then posted a series of images showing Carlson meeting with Arab leaders and re-posted other tweets which accused the ex-Fox host of taking money from Middle Eastern countries.

The furious clash between the Netanyahu heir and one of America's leading conservative voices came as Donald Trump and Netanyahu announced a peace agreement for Gaza at the White House on Monday.

Standing at the podium of the United Nations General Assembly last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu looked, above all, like yesterday's man. It was not only that the props and the schtick seemed old. So did the rhetoric: the stale neoconservative talking points about Israel as the bulwark of the West in its civilizational conflict against Islamist barbarism. The largely empty hall – vacated by most countries' delegations – conveyed an unmissable message. For almost 30 years Netanyahu has used the same tired language to justify Israel's actions. The world no longer wants to listen.

Netanyahu has tried everything to keep the war going. While vowing to eliminate Hamas, he has rejected every previous arrangement that would remove them from power. His aides allegedly leaked sensitive information to discredit the hostage families' movement. He repeatedly sabotaged cease-fire negotiations and, with the failed assassination of Hamas leaders in Qatar, jeopardized Israel's fragile Middle East alliances. Most recently, he approved the ongoing, renewed incursion into Gaza City against the professional opinion of the Israeli army's top brass.

Yesterday, the American president told Netanyahu that enough was enough. "We had a long, strong talk, Bibi and I," Trump said. "He understands it's time." Netanyahu stood with gritted teeth, looking gray, while Trump laid out the details of what he called his 20-point plan for "eternal peace in the Middle East," in his strange, digressive manner. Later in his speech, Trump boasted of forcing Netanyahu to apologize to the Qatari prime minister. "They had a really heart-to-heart conversation," he said. The scene was not one of two equals, but a superior dictating orders to a wayward supplicant.
