UNC Chapel Hill professor Dwayne Dixon, a self-identified member of the far-left Redneck Revolt gun club, has been placed on administrative leave after mounting scrutiny over his advocacy and involvement in politically motivated, armed left-wing protests.

The university confirmed the suspension to allow for a thorough investigation into allegations that could result in disciplinary action, including possible termination.

“The University of North Carolina has informed Dr. Dwayne Dixon, professor of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, that he has been placed on administrative leave, effective immediately, following recent reports and expressions of concern regarding alleged advocacy of politically motivated violence,” Vice Chancellor for Marketing and Communications Dean Stoyer said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

Redneck Revolt and Radical Activism

Dixon teaches Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at UNC. He is openly listed as a member of Redneck Revolt’s Silver Valley chapter, a group described by the Counter Extremism Project as “far-left,” anti-capitalist, and anti-nation-state, opposing police, prisons, and courts.

In 2017, Dixon joined armed counter-protesters at an anti-KKK event in Durham, North Carolina—though the KKK never appeared. Dixon, armed with an AR-15, helped block roadways, alarming the public and drawing charges of “going armed to the terror of people” and having a weapon at a public assembly; those charges were ultimately dropped.

He also attended the infamous Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, where James Fields Jr. rammed his car into a crowd, killing Heather Heyer. Dixon later bragged about chasing James Field with his AR-15 at a Harvard panel and in a January 7, 2018 Facebook post.

During a Harvard panel, Dixon admitted that James Fields “slow rolled” past him several times in his vehicle, adding, “One time he paused right in front of me and I waved him off with my rifle. On his last pass, he accelerated and a block away he killed Heather.”

Utah Valley University CIA Professor’s Profile Disappears After Charlie Kirk Event

A social media investigation has surfaced claims that a Utah Valley University (UVU) professor with alleged CIA ties, Rusty Needs, recently had his online faculty profile scrubbed just days after a controversial appearance by Charlie Kirk on campus.

The video details attempts to connect the CIA, LDS community, UVU, and Israeli academic institutions, raising concerns about secrecy and academic transparency.

According to the investigator, Rusty Needs, listed until recently as a professor in UVU’s CNSS (Center for National Security Studies), vanished from public faculty listings between September 24 and September 26, 2025. The purge reportedly included six other staff with ties to national security or event planning for the Kirk event. The university has allegedly removed the entire staff directory, citing security concerns, and other digital traces have rapidly disappeared.

There are also allegations that CNSS contributed to event planning for the Kirk appearance. University police reportedly managed security, while the sudden deletions have sparked online speculation about a wider cover-up involving academics and possibly institutional relationships with intelligence communities

Multiple People Arrested After Feds Uncover Massive Immigration Fraud Scheme Involving Hundreds in Minnesota

An immigration enforcement sweep in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area found widespread immigration fraud, according to the director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

“Officers encountered blatant marriage fraud, visa overstay, people claiming to work as businesses that can’t be found, forged documents, abuse of the H1B visa system, abuse of the F1 visa, and many other discrepancies,” USCIS Director Joseph Edlow told reporters Tuesday, according to the New York Post.

The Twin Cities has seen a massive rise in Somali refugees and immigrants, with over 82,000 Somalians living in Minnesota.

The area targeted for the enforcement sweep includes areas in and around the congressional district represented by Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar.

The New York Post report cited an immigration official as saying “nearly 50 percent” of inhabitants in the 1,000 homes targeted were involved in some type of fraud.

“Our officers found indication of fraud, non-compliance or public safety and national security concerns,” Edlow said. “What they found should shock all of America.”

USCIS said one immigrant underwent a sham marriage with an elderly American who was then subject to “elder abuse and exploitation,” according to Fox News.

Another immigrant admitting faking a Kenyan death certificate for $100 to end his marriage when his wife, who is also the mother of five of his children, was living in Minneapolis.

In another case, an individual admitted to marriage fraud hours after insisting her marriage was legitimate.

USCIS also found the son of a suspected terrorist who overstayed his visa and had been denied benefits because of fraud.

The sweep took place between Sept. 19 and Sept. 28, according to KMSP-TV, which reported four people were arrested.

USCIS officials indicated that other cities are likely to be future targets, and said unspecified red flags made Minnesota appear a good place to start this new enforcement operation.

“When you look at what we’re seeing as concerning patterns of fraud, we’re seeing good cooperation here, especially among our field office working with our federal agents,” Edlow said. “It just makes sense to start in a city where we have a sense of what’s going on and where we can try to make an impact on certain things, like the immigration fraud from marriages and things of that nature.”

“We knew Minneapolis and Saint Paul were a good place to start to get that coordination and to start addressing the red flags that we found,” he added.

“At the end of the day, this is what the government should be doing,” Edlow continued.

Hamas asks for clarification on Trump's 20-point Gaza plan clauses

Hamas also demanded, according to the source, that "a distinction be made between offensive and defensive weapons, as the latter is guaranteed by international law" and that they demand "a complete cessation of the war and that Israeli forces not return to the Strip," the report added.

The source also told Al-Arabiya that Hamas demands a clear timetable for the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and that the committee that would run the Strip be Palestinian, not international.

Spain launches investigation into 158 companies tied to 'Israeli-occupied territories'

According to a new law approved by the Spanish Government last week, the advertising of goods and services from the 'occupied territories' is prohibited.

Spain's Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030 has launched an investigation into companies that advertise products made or services based in the Palestinian areas it considers occupied by Israel.

According to Article 4 of the Royal Decree-Law 10/2025, approved by the Spanish Government last week, the advertising of goods and services from these 'occupied territories' is prohibited.

The Ministry, led by Pablo Bustinduy, has therefore announced the adoption of urgent measures against the "genocide in Gaza and to support the Palestinian population."

One of the measures is that the Directorate-General for Consumer Affairs will investigate companies that are taking advantage of business from 'the occupied territories,' as recommended in a July 2025 report by UN special rapporteur Francesca Albanese.

'Profit and loss accounts stained with the blood of the Palestinian people'

"We will guarantee that no company operating in Spain has its profit and loss accounts stained with the blood of the Palestinian people," said Bustinduy, adding that he will ensure that "any company with activity in Spain abandons all operations linked to the Israeli occupation, either directly or indirectly."

Last Friday, the United Nations published a report naming 158 companies that carry out activities generating "human rights concerns" in the West Bank.

138 of the 158 are Israeli companies, and 20 are foreign. Spain is the second non-Israeli country with the largest presence on the list, with four companies in the infrastructure sector, only behind the United States, which has six. The four Spanish companies are engineering group Ineco, infrastructure group ACS, the industrial assembly firm SEMI, and the Basque train manufacturer CAF.

CAF announced on 25 September that it is aware of the UN report and the possible implications for it as a company, given its involvement in The Jerusalem Project, which includes the construction of the Green Line tram as well as the extension of the existing Red Line tram, which partially runs through east Jerusalem.

CAF said it "is fully aware of the complex legal and ethical implications linked to the Jerusalem Project, in particular in relation to International Humanitarian Law and corporate responsibility," and for this reason, carried out specific due diligence measures with three levels of intensity before taking on the project.

It also noted that the Arab community makes up a significant part of tram users and is the most frequent user. Not only this, but it noted that the vast majority of Arab users are at the highest levels of satisfaction with the service. 25% of the employees are also Arabs.

Kiev And Its Backers’ Plot Against Zaporozhye NPP Pushing World On Brink Of Global Nuclear Catastrophe

The Kiev regime and its backers in the West are actively pushing for a catastrophe at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), one that could threaten the entire world, in what appears to be an attempt to pressure, or rather blackmail Russia after failing to defeat it on the battlefield.

The Zaporozhye NPP, controlled by Russia, is located on the shores of the Kakhovka Reservoir in Energodar. It is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, with six power units capable of producing a combined 6 GW of electricity.

On October 1, the NPP entered its eighth consecutive day of blackout, relying solely on diesel generators to keep functioning safely.

The plant had to switch to reserve power sources on September 23, when the last external power supply line, 750 kW Dneprovskaya, was damaged by Ukrainian fire. It was the tenth such incident since the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.

The NPP’s Communications Director Yevgeniya Yashina told TASS that the current blackout is the longest in the past three years.

When asked whether the plant has broken the record of operating without an external power supply source, the director replied briefly: “Yes, it did.”

The plant’s management said that there are sufficient diesel reserves to run the generators autonomously for a prolonged period. It also said that all systems sustaining the plant’s functions are operating normally and are powered by backup energy sources. Radiation levels at the NPP site and nearby areas remain within safe limits.

While the situation at the NPP is stable for now, relying on backup generators is extremely dangerous. With no alternative power source, any failure in these generations would lead to critical failures in the plant’s key systems like those responsible for cooling, which in turn could cause a meltdown.

Federal Judge Rules Trump Administration’s Push To Deport Critics of Israel Is Unconstitutional

A federal judge in Boston ruled on Tuesday that the Trump administration violated the Constitution with its effort to deport critics of Israel, and affirmed that non-citizens in the US legally have the same right to free speech as Americans.

“This case — perhaps the most important ever to fall within the jurisdiction of this district court — squarely presents the issue whether non-citizens lawfully present here in the United States actually have the same free speech rights as the rest of us. The Court answers this Constitutional question unequivocally ‘yes, they do,” said District Judge William Young, who was nominated by President Reagan.

The ruling was the result of a lawsuit brought by several university associations that alleged the arrest of college students and faculty who participated in pro-Palestine protests violated the First Amendment and had a chilling effect on speech.

“In his 161-page opinion, the judge analyzed the Trump administration’s allegations against several non-citizens, including Mahmoud Khalil and Rumeysa Ozturk, and rightly recognized that they were targeted purely for their political views and speech,” Jenin Younis, a civil liberties attorney and legal director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, told Antiwar.com.

“He rejected the argument that non-citizens lack First Amendment protections, correctly observing that it serves as a restraint on government, without respect to the immigration status of the speaker,” Younes added.

In his ruling, Young said that Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and their subordinates “acted in concert to misuse the sweeping powers of their respective offices to target non-citizen pro-Palestinians for deportation primarily on account of their First Amendment-protected political speech.”

Young said Rubio and Noem carried out this policy “in order to strike fear into similarly situated non-citizen pro-Palestinian individuals, pro-actively (and effectively) curbing lawful pro-Palestinian speech and intentionally denying such individuals (including the plaintiffs here) the freedom of speech that is their right.”

The judge added that the effect of the campaign against pro-Palestinian non-citizens “continues unconstitutionally to chill freedom of speech to this day.”
