Russia strikes Ukrainian arms plants and power sources – MOD
3 Oct, 2025 12:31
Russian forces have struck multiple Ukrainian military facilities and the gas infrastructure that powers them in an overnight long-range operation, the Defense Ministry reported on Friday.
The ministry said missiles and long-range drones launched overnight from several platforms were used in the barrage and that all designated targets were hit.
Ukrainian state-owned energy company Naftogaz described the attack as the largest strike on gas extraction sites in the country to date, adding that some of the damage was “critical.”
The company said sites in the Kharkov and Poltava regions came under attack by about 35 missiles – many of them ballistic – and some 60 drones, and claimed the strikes were “without military sense.”
Moscow has said its forces do not target purely civilian infrastructure.
Kiev has emphasized long-range strikes on Russian oil refineries and other elements of energy infrastructure as a key element of its strategy and has pressed Western partners to support domestic production of drones and missiles.
Ukraine also intends to export some domestically produced weapons to help cover budget shortfalls. Kiev expects foreign backers to compensate for the remaining deficit.
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned this week that Ukrainian attacks on sensitive infrastructure, including attempts to damage nuclear facilities, risk retaliation.
“This is a dangerous game,” he said at the Valdai Discussion Club in Sochi. “People on the other side must realize: if they play it, what would stop us from responding in kind against their working nuclear power plants? They should consider that.”

IDF takes control over 42 Sumud flotilla vessels sailing to break Gaza Strip blockade
03 October 2025 21:16 (UTC +04:00)
The Israeli military has intercepted all the 42 vessels of the Global Sumud Flotilla that were seeking to break the maritime blockade of the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, APA reports.
"Operation ‘Horizon Shield’: Within 12 hours operational control achieved over 42 vessels that attempted to breach the maritime security blockade [of the Gaza Strip]," it said.
"In an operation that lasted approximately 12 hours, Israeli Navy personnel foiled a large-scale incursion attempt by hundreds of individuals aboard 42 naval vessels that declared their intention to break the lawful maritime security blockade adjacent to the Gaza Strip."
"Following the operation, the flotilla members were safely transferred to Ashdod Port for further processing by the Israel Police," it went on.
"The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, was present throughout the operation at the Israeli Navy’s command center, and maintained continuous contact with the commanders involved and present during the operation."
"The IDF will continue to resolutely maintain the maritime security blockade around the Gaza Strip," the IDF warned.

‘Lyutyi’ Drones Smash Russian Orsk Refinery 1,500 km From Ukraine
Oct. 3, 2025, 2:59 pm
Drones struck an oil refinery in the Russian city of Orsk, Orenburg region, on Friday, Oct. 3, Ukrainian officials said.
A source in Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) told Kyiv Post that strike drones of the “Alpha” special operations unit carried out the attack.
“The SBU continues to inflict serious damage on Russia’s economy by targeting oil and gas facilities.
Reducing oil revenues directly impacts the Kremlin’s ability to finance the war. Nearly 40% of Russia’s refinery capacity is already idle, and we will keep working to increase that figure,” the source said.
The refinery, one of the largest in Russia’s Orenburg region, processes up to 6.6 million tons of crude annually and produces around 30 types of fuel and lubricants, including gasoline, diesel, jet kerosene, fuel oil, and bitumen.
Reports said the strike prompted an evacuation at the plant, while Orsk city officials urged residents not to panic.
Orsk is located about 1,500 kilometers (930 miles) from the Ukrainian border.
The monitoring Telegram channel Exilenova+ reported that several “Liutyi” drones were used in the strike.
The development of the Lyutyi drone was first publicly announced by the Ukrainian state defense enterprise “Ukroboronprom” in October 2022.
The agency stated its intention to create an attack drone weighing over 200 kilograms (440 pounds) with a 75-kilogram (165-pound) warhead and a range of more than 1,000 kilometers (625 miles).
BBC News Ukraine reported that the Lyutyi drone was first launched into Russian territory in May 2023, with serial production beginning at the end of the summer.
A source in the Ukrainian government involved in the drone’s development told journalists that Lyutyi is a unique analogue of the Iranian Shahed kamikaze drone.
It has high jamming resistance and is capable of changing altitude during flight depending on the terrain.
The Orsknefteorgsintez plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, jet kerosene, fuel oil, bitumen and lubricants. In recent years, the facility has undergone large-scale modernization.
In 2018, the refinery launched a hydrocracking complex to improve processing depth and fuel quality. Between 2020 and 2021, the construction of a delayed coking unit was completed.
The total cost of the modernization program exceeded 70 billion rubles (around $750 million), according to Oboz.ua media.

IDF says it killed 20 Hamas operatives seeking to attack other Gazans in humanitarian zone
October 3, 2025 5:44 pm
Some 20 armed Hamas terror operatives, who attempted to carry out a raid against other Gazans in the Israeli-designated humanitarian zone in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza, were killed in drone strikes, the military says.
The military publishes footage of the strikes.
Hossam al-Astal, who leads an armed group in the area, told The Times of Israel that his forces had thwarted a Hamas attack on a family with which the terror group is in dispute this morning, with air support from the IDF.
The Israeli military does not mention the armed group in its statement, but confirms it thwarted an attack on “Gazan residents” in the area.
The IDF says that after the drone strikes, several Hamas operatives were seen trying to use Palestinian children as human shields. The gunmen were killed in separate strikes minutes later, without harm being caused to the civilians, the military says.
In recent weeks, there have been repeated attempts by Hamas to prevent Palestinian civilians from heading to the humanitarian area in southern Gaza, the military says.
According to the IDF’s latest estimates, more than 870,000 Palestinians have evacuated Gaza City to the Strip’s south, out of around a million who were residing there before the army’s latest offensive against Hamas.

‘Body snatchers’: Horror as California university caught providing the IDF with human corpses for training
Oct 3, 2025 4:19 AM PDT
You'd think the IDF would have enough corpses by now.
Donating your body for research is one of the noblest things you can do. After all, a human body is a valuable thing to science, and it’s safe to say you’re past the need for it after your death.
You’d like to imagine your remains would be used for critical medical research to save future lives, perhaps with your body parts living on inside a grateful donor.
Alternatively, your body might be handed over to the Israeli Defense Forces to enable it to carry out genocide more efficiently.
This is the chilling revelation that’s just emerged from the University of Southern California (USC), with a new investigation revealing they’ve had a lucrative contract to sell both donated and unclaimed bodies to the U.S. Navy, who’ve been in turn using them for IDF “trauma training”.
Since the end of 2017, the USC has been paid over $860,000 for delivery of 89 “fresh cadaver bodies”, with almost half of them being used to train IDF soldiers at the Los Angeles General Medical Center.
This takes place at the “Fresh Tissue Dissection Lab”, at which corpses are pumped full of artificial blood, mutilated to simulate battlefield injuries, and used to prepare IDF soldiers for war.
Desensitizing IDF recruits to trauma
The process is still ongoing, despite multiple internationally recognized organizations concluding that the IDF is in the process of carrying out genocide. There are now provisions for $225,000 more to be paid for further corpses in the coming months and years.
Shocked medical professionals have noted that the families of the dead likely won’t have been informed that their loved ones’ bodies will have been used for military purposes – still less that they’ll have been used to train IDF soldiers.
And in the case of unclaimed bodies, the situation is even murkier as there’s no consent whatsoever.
In an interview with USC Annenberg media, an anonymous physician alerted reporters and explained that this training “wasn’t designed or developed to save lives. It was just to desensitize people to the trauma.”
Honestly, delivering corpses to the IDF is equivalent to bringing sand to the beach. You’d think if there’s one organization with easy access to as many dead bodies as they need, it’d be them.
But, if you die in California and you or your loved ones have agreed to give your body up to research, you may end up inadvertently contributing to crimes against humanity in a small but critical way.

Unidentified Drones Shut Down Munich Airport, 17 Flights Cancelled
Oct. 3, 2025, 9:03 am
Unidentified drones near Germany’s Munich International Airport on Thursday night forced the closure of runways and the cancellation of 17 flights.
German outlet Der Spiegel reported, citing federal police, that several witnesses reported spotting a drone near the airport, followed by additional reports of drones flying directly over the airport area.
It remains unclear whether there was one drone or multiple devices. State and federal police patrolled the area overnight in search of drones and possible suspects, but found nothing.
However, the airport reopened on Friday, Oct. 3, according to Reuters.
A flight from Bangkok was the first to land at 5.25 a.m. (0325 UTC), while passengers were seen checking in for flights, including one to Varna, Bulgaria.
By then, only a handful of cancellations remained on the departure board.
Airport officials said several drone sightings late Thursday forced air traffic control to suspend operations, leading to the cancellation of 17 flights and disrupting travel for nearly 3,000 passengers, who were provided with camp beds, blankets, and food.
Another 15 incoming flights were diverted to Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Vienna, and Frankfurt.
A police spokesperson told Bild newspaper that the drones were spotted above the airport late in the evening, but due to the darkness, their size and type could not be determined. Police have not yet commented further.
The incident comes amid a series of suspicious drone flights across northern and central Europe. On Sept. 26, drones were recorded over strategic sites in Schleswig-Holstein, including a shipyard in Kiel, a university clinic, a power plant, the state parliament building, and even an oil refinery.
German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt has since declared an “increased threat to German security” and announced the creation of a national counter-drone center.
Meanwhile, the Bundestag is drafting a law that would allow the armed forces to shoot down drones, even those distant from military facilities.
Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary has called for urgent EU action, criticizing leaders for failing to protect airports and strategic sites. Unidentified drone flights have also been reported in Poland and Scandinavia.
On Sept. 9, Russian drones entered Polish airspace, and on Sept. 19, three Russian MiG-31 fighter-bombers flew in Estonian skies for 12 minutes in what officials described as the most serious airspace violation in two decades.
On Sept. 27, drones were spotted near Norway’s Erland Air Base - home to F-35 fighters and recent NATO exercises - and over several airports in Denmark, including Aalborg, Esbjerg, Sønderborg, and Skridstrup Air Base.
European leaders from NATO nations agreed Wednesday to boost the bloc’s defenses against drones at a summit in Copenhagen, days after unmanned aircraft disrupted Danish airspace.
Authorities across Europe have accused Russia of repeated violations, including drones over Poland and Sukhoi warplanes entering Estonian airspace.
“Europe must be able to defend itself,” Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said, calling for greater production of drones and anti-drone systems, along with a European-wide network to “protect and neutralize intrusion from outside.”
European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen warned: “Russia tries to test us. But Russia also tries to sow division and anxiety in our societies. We will not let this happen.”
She has championed a “drone wall” - a network of sensors and weapons to detect, track, and neutralize hostile aircraft - an idea NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte this week called “timely and necessary.”
The recent incursion into Poland exposed Europe’s gaps in drone defense, forcing NATO to engage fighters, helicopters, and Patriot air defenses.
“Russia will continue and we have to be ready,” said Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.
Moscow has denied responsibility, with Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov dismissing Europe’s proposals: “As history has shown, erecting walls is always a bad thing.”

Swiss army beefs up drone defences
October 3, 2025 - 12:33
According to the government, the semi-mobile system can also be used for missions by the civil authorities or to promote peace.
A trial of this new system was carried out in the field in 2025 and proved positive. The army has therefore commissioned armasuisse, the Swiss defence procurement agency, to acquire it.
The army still has to decide which model it wants to acquire. Framework contracts have also been signed for the purchase of minidrones, accessories and services. A budget of CHF108 million has been earmarked for this purpose.
In recent weeks, drones have violated European airspace on several occasions. On Thursday, the Swiss army reported that mini-UAVs have been observed flying over military or troop areas on several occasions this year.

WEAPONIZED : The Reluctant UFO Whistleblower - Dylan Borland Tells All : PART 1 : WEAPONIZED : EPISODE #90 and #91
September 23, 2025
Part 1
Of the five witnesses to testify before Congress and its Secrets Task Force in early September, one stood out as a legitimate whistleblower.
Dylan Borland did not merely serve his country in the U.S. Air Force; he also held a top-secret clearance and conducted highly lethal work for an intelligence agency, work that came to weigh heavily on his mind.
In this episode of WEAPONIZED, Borland reveals the full story of how his desire to work for the FBI led him to the Air Force, and then to specialized work for a large defense contractor, though the actual work was carried out at the direction of a particular intelligence agency, a job from which he could not escape.
In part one of a highly detailed and revelatory conversation, Borland tells Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp how his security clearance was manipulated to keep him trapped - and quiet about UAP technology he witnessed with his own eyes.
Threats, intimidation, and economic blackmail became parts of his everyday life.

Part 2
In this explosive PART 2 episode of WEAPONIZED, UAP whistleblower Dylan Borland reveals specific details about the legacy programs and the extreme measures that are taken against potential whistleblowers.
Borland was one of five witnesses to testify to Congress in early September, but there were limits on what he could say in an open hearing.
In this wide-ranging interview with Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, Borland says he learned of an ongoing plan to shoot down UFOs, some of which resembled "flying propane tanks", about the methods used to hide UFO legacy programs outside the reach of Congress, and reveals his interactions with other personnel who worked for those hidden programs.
Borland and others were kept in a bureaucratic netherworld where their secrecy was maintained through intimidation, excessive surveillance, death threats, and economic blackmail. They didn't want to stay but could not leave.

“Looked Like Iron Man”: Tucson Pilot’s “Drone” Report and Audio Recording Revealed in FAA Records
John GreenewaldBy John GreenewaldOctober 2, 2025
On December 17, 2022, a Cessna 172 pilot approaching Tucson, Arizona, reported an unusual airborne object to air traffic controllers. Now, following a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by The Black Vault, the FAA has released official documents and audio transcripts detailing the encounter.
The FOIA case, filed January 19, 2023, was prompted by a comment on Reddit in response to a Black Vault posting about pilot sightings. A user referenced a recording of air traffic control communications and mentioned a pilot describing a strange red and silver object. That tip led directly to the FOIA request, which the FAA confirmed in a February 28, 2023 disclosure letter responding to “records pertaining to the Red and Silver Ironman Unmanned Aircraft Systems on December 17, 2022, near Tucson, Arizona”.
The Encounter
The official FAA Mandatory Occurrence Report (MOR) states that Cessna N21272 “reported a red and silver drone at 80 at the TUS091006 moving east bound. N21272 advised drone looked like Iron Man. Possibly a balloon. No other sightings of drone”.
A Quality Assurance review further noted that “while descending through 8,400 feet, N21272 reported passing a silver and red drone that was off of their left side and slightly below them. No evasive action was reported”.
Air Traffic Control Audio
The released air traffic control audio provides a clearer picture of what the pilot described in real time. At 12:06 p.m. local time, the pilot transmitted:
“There was something strange that just flew by off the left side. It looks like some type of drone, but it was like red and silver. I couldn’t really tell the altitude, just a little bit below me”.
Controllers later followed up to clarify the report:
“And the drone, you said at 8,000 feet?”
The pilot responded:
“It was a little bit below me, I was at 8,000, and it wasn’t like a normal looking drone. It looked more vertical than like the quadcopter type and it was silver and red”.
When asked again to describe the object, the pilot elaborated:
“Yeah, it was silver and red. It almost reminded me of, like, an Iron Man suit, although not exactly like that, but like a silvery red color. It was pretty weird”.

Belgian UFO Monument Removed at Behest of Late Witness’s Family
October 02, 2025
A monument commemorating a legendary Belgian UFO sighting is no more after the family of the primary witness in the case successfully petitioned to have the piece removed.
According to a local media report, the original incident occurred in July of 1955 when Marin Vandercruyssen spotted what he later described as "five UFOs floated in formation from east to west" across the sky in the community of Lotenhulle.
To the astonishment of what he claimed were dozens of other witnesses who had stopped along a road to watch the weird scene, the silver disc-shaped objects moved "at the speed of a zeppelin" before suddenly vanishing.
Remarkably, the incident went unmentioned for nearly fifty years until Vandercruyssen finally shared his story in 2004. Though he initially received some ridicule for the fantastic tale, the emergence of other witnesses lent credence to the account. Investigators gave additional weight to Vandercruyssen's claim by noting that he was a paratrooper for the Belgian Army and an amateur astronomer, which made him a particularly well-trained observer.
The case quickly became a significant part of Belgian UFO lore, and, in the same year the story was revealed, Lotenhulle commemorated the event with a marble monument (seen below).
The piece depicts five flying saucers alongside a picture of Vandercruyssen, who passed away in 2020, from the time of the sighting.
Although the monument received a fresh polishing this past July in recognition of the 70th anniversary of the case, just a few weeks later, the monument vanished like the very UFOs that captivated the paratrooper so long ago.
Unlike in that instance, the circumstances of the disappearance are far from mysterious, as the piece was taken away this week at the behest of Vandercruyssen's family, who sought to detach themselves from his incredible story and even went so far as to hire a lawyer to convince Lotenhulle to make it happen.
While one can understand their reticence with being forever associated with their loved one's jaw-dropping UFO account, their actions have been met with some consternation from flying saucer fans in the country.
"We’re losing a piece of Belgian folklore," researcher Frederick Delaere reportedly lamented, "there are a lot of people who are not happy that they have removed it."
That sentiment was echoed by Belgian author Kamiel De Bruyne, who mused, “I think it's a pity. It's his life's work that's been taken away."
To that end, the whereabouts of the monument at this time are unknown, as is its ultimate fate, though one can only hope that the piece can be preserved by researchers or historians in the country so that it is not lost forever.
