When I finish the project I'm wrapping up I'll be sure to make the suggestion to Secretary Hegseth that the cover of the Law of War Manual gets updated, along with all references to the "Department of Defense" that are in it.

Heck, I'll even offer to make all the changes to the manual myself.

The version I linked is from 2023, so technically the reference is correct because that's what it was called back then.

But yes, by all means, the language in all publications should be updated.

I'll definitely make that suggestion on your behalf,8a0c5b, and I'll request that Secretary Hegseth sends you a gift card to Cracker Barrell to say "thank you."

What I do know, for certain, is that the public will awaken quickly, and in the very near future.

I know this.

The members of the general public are going to be absolutely outraged, and when they learn certain things, they will demand the immediate intervention of the honorable United States Military.
