They signed the Resignation Agreements months ago. Remember the voluntary Reduction of Force offers which put them all out of the offices on administrative leave, no more work or work access but with pay, for the past four months. This end date of Sept 30 was agreed upon in all those agreements.
It was only four months ago when the employees accepted the buy-out offers on their govt jobs. None of this was a surprise or new to anybody. Except the fucking media who can't even remember yesterday.
