Don't see where the post says anything about x-rays. Radioactive decay emits alpha, beta, or gamma radiation, none of which are x-rays. Just sayin.
But only if they are within the range of the electromagnetic spectrum designated as "X-Rays".
I stand somewhat corrected in that gamma rays are electromagnetic and do have some overlap with x-rays. Alpha, and beta are not. However my point was that not all "radiation" is the same. Monitor visible light before and after the sun comes up and you can say there is a 1000x increase in radiation, doesn't make it a problem.
