Jesus fulfilled the new covenant provided to Jeremiah in Chapter 31, verses 31-34 as foretold by Daniel in Chapter 9 verse 24-27. Note that the new covenant is only with the house of Israel and not with the house of Judah.

Tell me that the Bible is a trick and I shall call a lie. God knew when he gave his word to man that man would corrupt it. Thus, God gave man words that were complex and upon initial reading would not have much meaning to the uninitiated. Time and the seeking of truth makes all the difference.
