Why are companies like 23andme still allowed to continue collecting DNA samples?
Was reading an article a few days ago about them and other DNA collection companies send millions of DNA samples to pharma companies so they can design "designer drugs" based on DNA.
Sounds cool, right? Drugs based on your DNA will be highly effective at treating problems, right?
So what's the flip side? Remember when they started selling cellphones with GPS, and Northstar systems? It'll help you if your ever in an emergency, we will be able to get to you faster, and so on. Then the government made it MANDATORY for ALL cellphones to have GPS, and then a few years later we find out why.
Customized DNA drugs….think about it, programed to control population, programed to kill off people after certain ages, programed to change your reproductive system so that you can only have so many kids.
So why is this not stopped yet?
