Indicted means, he has to appear in court and that there is enough evidence to against him to go before a Grand Jury of 26 people. They will judge if there is enough evidence to go to trial or not, that is their job. He won't go to jail until after a conviction, this is all a very lengthy process that could take a year or years. Arrest just means detained, jail is being held for up to a few days, and prison is a sentence.
