What works on my system is to pull power of of my router and then pull from my computer a hot dump the will dump all memory count to 10 reboot the router plug my system back in and start the computer. but before all that I clean all cookies + all history in brave browser.
It might work for you. I run steam for game, it is the worse one for eating up memory wile running in the back ground.
