Russia targets Ukrainian weapons plants and energy infrastructure – MOD

The Russian military has carried out a large-scale strike overnight against Ukraine’s arms production facilities and the energy infrastructure supplying them, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said.
Earlier on Sunday, Telegram channels reported missile and drone attacks across Ukraine, including in Sumy, Kharkov, Ivano-Frankovsk, Vinnitsa, Poltava, Chernigov and Odessa regions.
The bombardment in Lviv Region, on the Ukrainian border with Poland, was described as one of the most intense since the escalation between Moscow and Kiev in February 2022.
At least 25 facilities in the city of Lviv were reportedly hit.
Later in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the strike, saying in a statement that it involved “land-, sea- and air-based precision-guided weapons, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, as well as attack drones.”
The attack was aimed at “Ukrainian military-industrial facilities and the energy infrastructure supporting their operations,” it said.
"The objectives of the strikes have been achieved. All designated targets were hit,” the ministry said.
Ukraine’s Energy Ministry said that the attack caused blackouts in several regions, with repairs ongoing.
Moscow maintains that it carries out drone and missile strikes across Ukraine in response to drone incursions by Kiev against energy infrastructure and residential areas inside Russia.
The Russian Defense Ministry insists that it exclusively targets Ukrainian military sites such as troop positions, weapons depots, and fuel storage facilities, and never attacks innocent people or civilian infrastructure.

Israeli hostages to be released in days – Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he hopes to announce the release of hostages being held in Gaza “in the coming days.”
Hamas has agreed to free the hostages under a US peace plan, according to a statement released by the Palestinian militant group on Friday.
It did not mention disarmament, and they demanded negotiations on other subjects, including “other issues mentioned” in the US proposal.
In a televised statement on Saturday, Netanyahu vowed that “Hamas will be disarmed, and Gaza will be demilitarized.” He added that “either the easy way or the hard way, but it will be achieved.”
Later on Saturday, Hamas said that Israel was continuing to commit “massacres” after strikes hit Gaza in the morning.
US President Donald Trump, however, said that the Jewish state has “temporarily stopped the bombing,” calling it a critical step toward finalizing a peace agreement with Hamas and securing the release of hostages.
He warned the Palestinian armed group to act swiftly. Indirect ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas are set to start in Egypt on Monday.
Trump has called on West Jerusalem to stop launching strikes against the enclave, proposing that Hamas must release all remaining hostages within 72 hours of Israel suspending military operations in Gaza and withdrawing its troops “to the agreed-upon line.”
West Jerusalem has agreed to the prisoner swap but has not officially addressed Trump’s call for Israel to halt its strikes on Gaza.

Israeli financial daily Calcalist reported that Iran has possessed American stealth drone technology since 2011 and has since produced at least five radar-evading unmanned aerial vehicles.
The newspaper said Iran reverse-engineered the US RQ-170 Sentinel drone that crash-landed inside its territory in 2011, developing several variants under the Shahed series, including reconnaissance and attack models.
Calcalist warned that while Iran has used stealth drones in past operations, it did not deploy them extensively during the recent 12-day conflict, suggesting Tehran may be preserving the advanced systems for future engagements or export purposes.

For me, the 1977 Colares UFO incident is one of those stories. It’s a case I’ve revisited many times, trying to understand what truly happened on that small island off Brazil’s northern coast, and why the world still knows so little about it.
This wasn’t a simple “lights in the sky” report. It was a mass event. Dozens of witnesses. Military involvement. Physical injuries. And later, silence, the kind that lingers for decades. Looking at it now, almost fifty years later, the official explanations seem thinner than ever.
What happened in Colares might reveal not only something about unidentified aerial phenomena, but about us, how governments manage fear, how people interpret the unknown, and how truth can vanish behind official paperwork.
The Island That Became a Battleground of Light
Colares in the late 1970s was an isolated fishing community. The air was humid, the nights quiet, and daily life revolved around tides and weather. Then the lights came.
Residents began reporting glowing objects hovering above the ocean, descending silently toward the village. Some claimed the beams that shot down from these objects left them weak or injured.
Local doctors recorded burn-like wounds that didn’t match any known pattern. Fear spread quickly. People stopped sleeping outdoors. Bonfires burned through the night as protection against whatever was in the sky.

The abrupt closure, the classification of the documents, and the silence that followed, all suggest that the answers found were more unsettling than the authorities were willing to admit.

In the late 1990s, some of the files were finally declassified, revealing photographs of glowing objects over water and sketches of craft described by witnesses.
Around the same time, one of the operation’s officers, Captain Uyrangê Hollanda, spoke publicly about his experience.
His account added more mystery than clarity. He described observing luminous metallic disks and intelligent, controlled flight patterns.
To him, these weren’t random lights, they behaved as if they were studying people. Shortly after his interview, Hollanda died, reportedly by suicide. The timing fueled more speculation than closure.

There’s a theory known as the Breakaway Civilization hypothesis: the idea that a parallel technological society may have emerged from secret military-industrial projects after World War II.
It’s controversial, of course, but when looking at cases like Colares, it becomes difficult to dismiss completely. I don’t claim to have solved Colares. I don’t think anyone truly can. But revisiting it through open documents, reports, and patterns from similar cases has convinced me of one thing:
The truth is rarely hidden by accident. Whatever happened in that small Brazilian fishing village still echoes in modern secrecy, from today’s classified aerospace projects to the controlled way “Disclosure” is unfolding.
