I would agree but my spouse still has to go to work every day and isn't getting paid. We aren't worried in the moment, but if it goes past 90 days, we may have to consider bankruptcy. We have no debt, no bills, just the mortgage and it's hard to pay w/out money.

Correct, but he taught in one of his classes as a matter of fact that Trump is a psychopath, reiterated it several times. Has anyone on this board ever met Trump? He's surprisingly an emotional person, he takes that shit behind closed doors and keeps the cameras out. There's a reason why when asked about Charlie Kirk he deflected and started talking about his new Ballroom, it's his way of avoiding the emotional pain in public. You saw it on stage w/Erika Kirk when she started clinging to him, his 'chin pucker' he had to fight off to keep from crying right/then there. I personally think he should let it rip, but he does where actual orange makeup so not sure what that would look like.

I agree his info is interesting, but he's driving his own agenda and that can't be ignored.

MAGA isn't fumingโ€ฆ As retired military, a judge has zero authority/say. The National Guard will either deploy or face charges. It's not rocket science, military operates under the UCMJ, not state/federal law.

When you raise that right hand, swear that oath, you waive your Constitutional rights and operate completely at the mercy of the DOW, not the courts.

The troops will deploy or people will be charged under the UCMJ, there's literally no avoiding it as the courts authority isn't recognized anywhere in our chain of command.

I served under Berry, you think maybe we looked for a 'legal' avenue to counter him? We sure as hell did and the answer was, POTUS has absolute authority, even if he's a fuckwit, foreigner who is illegally seated and clearly destroying our country.

The order, as issued isn't unlawful. Also, unlawful is 'literal'. You have to be asked to kill someone or commit a crime/felony. It isn't, under any circumstances 'unlawful' to deploy a states national guard. The National Guard will deploy or Hegseth will be charging leaders till it happens.

If military leadership has an issue, they can run it up the chain, but w/in that chain, there is no state/federal judge as they have zero authority over military personnel.

You can disagree, but that just makes you wrong.

Nonsensical post, it takes an ignorant person who hasn't served to make such a stupid statement.

It's easy to push back on orders when you believe they are 'unlawful', the first step is always the same, you get them in writing first. 99% of the time, this is all it takes to put a stop to them. Commanders are pussies, they don't like conflict or intelligent enlisted members who understand the game.

Either way, it's a simple matter, judges have no say in the matter, period. It's not my opinion, they aren't in the chain of command. Even w/in the military, JAG has no authority till your commander turns your ass over to them. JAG has a place, but it's also subject to the whims of the POTUS.

If people don't like it or disagree, don't give a shit, them's the rules.

In 2010, I got asked for my opinion on how to deal w/Israel/middle eastโ€ฆ I guess most had never actually read the bible, they were a little confused at my suggestion to 'glass' the entire middle east, Jerusalem and all.

Probably the most fun conversation I'd ever engaged while serving on active duty. A lot of people went home and cracked their bibles that night, nobody ever did counter me.

POTUS does have the authority. In fact, he's the only person who has the authority. The judge, not only has 'no authority', they have not legal standing to act/intervene. So much so, the National Guard should deploy w/out hesitation as they've been given a formal, legal order.

We don't have a king, we have a constitution, which gives the POTUS this power, like it or not, they will deploy.
