Computers are idiots.
They can only do what they are programmed to do… but they do so quite quickly, which gives the impression of competence and intelligence.
Computers are neither competent nor intelligent on their own. If the programming is adequate, they might give you the right answer, but if the idiot who gave the computer the instructions was true to form, the computer just gave you a load of crap, and anyone who believes it on face value is a bigger idiot.
Organic intelligence may not be correct all the time, but my "bullshit meter" pegs to the danger zone anytime AI is involved.
