An unusually powerful M7.4 earthquake struck in the Philippine Sea 24 kilometer from Manay, The Philippines in the morning of Friday October 10th, 2025. The USGS has indicated there is a potential risk at tsunami's following this earthquake.

Earthquake Summary

This earthquake hit under water in the Philippine Sea, right off the coast of The Philippines (12 mi offshore), 24 kilometer east-northeast of Manay in Davao. The center of this earthquake had a quite shallow depth of 58 km. Shallow earthquakes usually have a larger impact than earthquakes deep in the earth.

Roughly 28 million people exposed to shaking

The USGS has published a report estimating the number of people exposed to this earthquake. Acoording to their analysis, roughly 28 million have been exposed to shaking at an MMI level of II or higher.

The highest earthquake impact level for this earthquake is VIII, which corresponds with severe shaking and likely moderate to heavy damage. Roughly 30,590 people are expected to be exposed to this level. Intensity level IV was experienced by a large group of people (around 11 million). In their region, light shaking and likely no damage can be expected.

People in 2 countries have been exposed to shaking. In The Philippines , around 28 million people, with impact levels up to VIII (severe shaking, likely moderate to heavy damage). Shaking was experienced by inhabitants of Indonesia too.

A magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck waters off the coast of Manay, Davao Oriental at 9:43 a.m. local time on October 10, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.

The tectonic quake had a shallow depth of 10 kilometers and was centered 62 kilometers southeast of Manay, a coastal municipality in Davao Oriental.

I've been dead many times, and the only space in spirit form I dealt with was earth and heaven, nothing else was shown to me, and no evil lives outside of the human body, but an energy so uplifting and peaceful, you never want to return to your body.
