Residents have returned to some of the areas from which the occupation forces have withdrawn. The destruction is beyond description no homes, no infrastructure, no schools, no hospitals. The devastation is immense.

Met Office Deletes Huge Chunks of Historic Temperature Data After Fabrication Claims

Last August, the Daily Sceptic drew attention to the UK Met Office inventing temperature data at its fictitious ‘open’ weather station at Lowestoft. Figures were said to be compiled from “well-correlated neighbouring stations”, but research by citizen sleuth Ray Sanders found there were no such operations within a 40-mile radius. At the time, the Daily Sceptic referred to the matter as a “smoking gun” and said that unless the Met Office could finally reveal its workings out, “the only realistic conclusion to draw is that the data are invented”. No explanation has been provided but in a shock unannounced move the Met Office has now withdrawn all the Lowestoft data from its historical record back to when the site closed in 2010. Similar withdrawals of data have also occurred in the stations at Nairm Druim and Paisley.

The move casts serious doubt over attempts by the Met Office to estimate temperature trends across many once open but now closed weather stations. Sanders is not inclined to minimise the scale of the problem facing the Met Office. When subject to “proper scrutiny”, the Met Office “could not substantiate its fabrication of false data and has had to delete them in their entirety”.

The practice of inventing temperature data from non-existent stations is not confined to the UK. In the USA, the weather service NOAA has been charged with fabricating data from more than 30% of its reporting sites. Data are retrieved from surrounding stations and the resulting averages are given an ‘E’ for estimate. The addition of the so-called ‘ghost’ station data means NOAA’s monthly and yearly reports are “not representative of reality”, states meteorologist Anthony Watts. If such evidence was presented in a court of law it would be thrown out, he adds.

Temperature measurements and estimates are a highly imprecise science. The dreadful mistake meteorological operations like the Met Office and NOAA make is to leverage their ‘trusted’ status to promote the political Net Zero fantasy by claiming an accuracy and precision that is simply not available in their rough-and-ready figures.

Heads Up! Mexican Cartel Hangs Banners Threatening to Target U.S. Citizens In Popular Tourist Towns

Cartel gunmen in Mexico put up two banners addressed to FBI Director Kash Patel and other officials from the U.S. and Mexico, threatening U.S. citizens living in the Cabo San Lucas and San Jose areas. The threats point to the U.S. getting involved in the cartel’s turf war in Sinaloa and Baja California.

The banner first surfaced on Sunday in Baja California, where gunmen left two banners allegedly signed by Los Chapitos. The banners claim that starting on Sunday, they will be targeting U.S. citizens in Mexico in response to recent lab raids and weapons seizures.

The threats come as several states in Mexico are seeing high levels of violence tied to an ongoing turf war between Los Chapitos and the Mayiza faction of the Sinaloa Cartel. Both factions went to war following the capture of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada by Los Chapitos, who flew him to Texas to the waiting hands of U.S. authorities. That perceived betrayal has led to a fierce turf war that has been raging on for over 14 months and has led to thousands of murders and cartel kidnappings.

Both factions of the Sinaloa Cartel are considered Foreign Terrorist Organizations by the U.S. government following the designation made by the U.S. Department of State earlier this year.

The turf war spread to both Baja California and Baja California Sur, which are home to popular beach resort areas frequented by U.S. tourists. Most recently, the U.S Department of the Treasury issued a series of sanctions against Sinaloa Cartel members and various businesses in Baja California. One of those individuals sparked considerable controversy, as she was the former mayor of Rosarito and had since become a federal legislator.

Good Government Group Demands IRS Probe SPLC’s Tax-Exempt Status Over Left-Wing ‘Political Activity

‘Based on the above allegations and the evidence provided in support; we believe that the American people are entitled to a full investigation into this urgent matter.’

The IRS should probe and consider revoking the tax-exempt status of the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for its hyper-partisan political activity, a complaint filed with the agency on Thursday argues.

“American taxpayers should not be expected to subsidize an organization that engages in daily attacks on Republicans, compares those who hold mainstream conservative beliefs to the KKK, and who consistently labels conservatives as engaging in ‘hate’ without any reference to any other political parties or ideologies,” Center to Advance Security in America (CASA) Director James Fitzpatrick told The Federalist. “We believe the American people are entitled to a full investigation into this urgent matter.”

Addressed to Treasury Secretary and Acting IRS Commissioner Scott Bessent, the legal complaint obtained by The Federalist requests that the federal agency launch an investigation into the SPLC over “several serious concerns about [its] compliance with federal law regarding tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) including but not limited to it no longer fulfilling a charitable purpose and its partisan political activity.”

As described by the nonprofit watchdog InfluenceWatch, the SPLC is a “controversial left-of-center advocacy group that claims to be a watchdog of extremist groups.” The organization “has been criticized for its financial practices and for characterizing non-violent conventional conservative organizations as equivalent to violent extremists.”

As further noted by Fitzpatrick in CASA’s complaint to the IRS, the SPLC “liken[s] normal, mainstream, conservative beliefs, to that of the KKK” and labels “political candidates and government officials, only Republicans, on their hate lists or hate watch articles.” The leftist group notably characterized Turning Point USA — the organization founded by the recently assassinated Charlie Kirk — as a “hard right” group that embraces “white nationalist” conspiracies.

In a May 2025 article, author Rachael Fugardi claimed that “Turning Point USA’s primary strategy is sowing and exploiting fear that white Christian supremacy is under attack by nefarious actors, including immigrants, the LGBTQ+ community and civil rights activists.” She further contended that TPUSA is seeking to “sow fear and division to enforce social hierarchies rooted in supremacism,” which she said “is emblematic of the hard right’s broader political project to destroy our foundational democratic principles and institutions.”

“The article,” Fitzpatrick noted in CASA’s complaint, “is filled with cherry picked and out of context comments made by Kirk and draws untrue and unverified conclusions.” The goal of the article is to “make the reader hate Kirk and his work,” he added.

Samantha Power secretly colluded with Israel to enhance UN role, leaked emails show

Behind closed doors, the noted ‘humanitarian interventionist’ successfully lobbied for Israel’s inclusion on important UN committees even after the Human Rights Council accused it of targeting civilians in Gaza.

The leaked emails also reveal that Israel furnished Power with a dodgy dossier on Syrian chemical weapons as she pushed regime change in Damascus.

Former US ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power secretly coordinated with a top Israeli diplomat to secure Israel’s access to multiple prestigious UN committees, leaked files show.

Several unsolicited emails sent by Power to the then ambassador of Israel to the UN, Ron Prosor, show the diplomat celebrating her role in polishing Israel’s image on the global stage.

The emails between the two diplomats reveal how the US-Israeli special relationship operates at a granular level, and help map out the personal interactions which ensure Israel enjoys constant diplomatic cover at an international level. They are among the latest batch of hacked files belonging to Israeli government officials which were leaked by the Handala hacking collective.

A November 2013 email exchange between Power and Prosor reveals how the US ambassador helped secure Israel entry to the UN’s Western European and Others Group (WEOG). Three days before the vote succeeded, Prosor predicted “a Hanukkah miracle,” telling Power, “I know what [a] crucial role you played in making this happen. This success will last way beyond our time and will always carry your figure [sic] print on it.”

Power replied by thanking him for sending “such a nice note,” and agreed that Israel’s ascension to WEOG was “so overdue and so ridiculous that it has taken this long.”

When Tel Aviv was accepted into WEOG days later, the pro-Israel Jewish Virtual Library hailed the vote as “an important move that allows Israel to join WEOG meetings in Geneva and exert some influence on the Human Rights Council.”

On October 29, 2015, two weeks after Prosor stepped down from his role as Israeli ambassador to the UN, Power boasted to her former colleague that she had gotten Israel onto another UN body — “our last plot,” as she described it.

“117-1 vote today for Israel to get into copuos!” Power wrote, referring to Tel Aviv’s entrance to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. She described the achievement as “HUGE!!” In the subject line, Power told Prosor she had led the push “in your memory.” A day later, Prosor emailed back, telling Power: “I am so happy that with your unwavering support we got it through the UN system.”

Israel prepares for possible early hostage release, warns Hamas: 'By noon Monday—or the deal is off'

Israeli officials expect Hamas to free all remaining hostages by Monday but are preparing for an earlier release; 'It could happen anytime,' one official said; Trump is expected to hold a regional Gaza summit in Egypt next week

Israel is preparing for the possibility that the hostage release may be moved up, even as officials expect Hamas to complete the process by Monday at noon, the deadline set under the 72-hour framework.

A senior Israeli official told reporters that “it could happen at any moment—from now onward.” According to the terms of the deal, Hamas must complete the release of all 20 remaining hostages by 12:00 p.m. Monday.

“We have full readiness across all systems, including for an early release,” the official said. “But at the moment, there’s no indication Hamas will move up the timeline.”

The official added that Israel had demanded Hamas release all 20 living hostages in a single phase, though contingency plans are in place if the group opts for multiple stages. “We have assessments of their medical condition, and all relevant agencies are prepared,” he said.

Trump to visit Israel and host Gaza summit in Egypt

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to arrive in Israel on Monday morning, accompanied by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, ahead of a planned regional summit on Gaza in Egypt later next week, according to a report by Axios.

Citing four sources familiar with the matter, Axios reported that the summit will bring together representatives from Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Indonesia—but not Israel.

Hamas official: “We’re still in the first phase”

Earlier Friday, senior Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzouk told Al Jazeera that “we are still in the first phase, which aims to end the war and bring humanitarian aid into Gaza.”

He confirmed that the exchange process will begin Monday, and that the group intends to avoid public celebrations or military displays during the release.

Abu Marzouk also said the next phase of negotiations would focus on a “national project” and the possible deployment of international peacekeeping forces in Gaza and the West Bank. He added that while the U.S. has sent troops to monitor the cease-fire, they will be stationed inside Israel, not within the Gaza Strip.
