Higby apparently being threatened that he will be followed from the riot and attacked.
Illinois State Police providing protection for Higby by allowing him and his friend to stand behind their line. They were threatened by what looked like several local gangmembers.
Higby and his friend managed to escape the area in a cab. A couple dozen rioters still in road facing police and refusing to leave.
