Interesting. You skipped indoctrination. Our education system sucks. It has little flexibility to allow us to pursue and excel at our natural born talents.
Being smart has it's challenges socially. There's a slacker mentality that is prevalent by peers. Not wanting to be fake or lie and cheat to get ahead is a handicap in our world too.
