They've been available since 2013. It's still easier and less expensive to buy one than to print one.
They're not 100% plastic… they still require metal firing pins if I'm not mistaken. And the ammo isn't plastic, either. The topic is a mass-fear device. (The states opposing the law change are all the usual suspects… MA, NY, DC, OR, etc.) I wish he wouldn't fall for it.
