3 Qatari diplomats killed in car crash while heading to Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh

CAIRO (AP) — Three Qatari diplomats were killed in a car crash Saturday while heading to Egypt’s Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, health officials said.

Two other diplomats were injured when their vehicle overturned about 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Sharm el-Sheikh, the officials said.

The diplomats, who were from the Qatari protocol team, were traveling to the city ahead of a high-level summit celebrating a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the officials said. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief media.

Qatar mediated the ceasefire along with Egypt and the U.S. Turkey also joined the negotiations earlier this month in Sharm el-Sheikh, which was capped by a ceasefire and the release of hostages and hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.

Sharm el-Sheikh will host the summit to be co-chaired by President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi of Egypt and U.S. President Donald Trump, according to a statement from the Egyptian presidency.

The statement said more than two dozen world leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and United Nations Secretary General António Guterres will attend the summit.

Facial recognition will be used to unlock your digital identity; what has this got to do with climate change?

A recent announcement of a “mandatory” digital ID is not unique to the UK. New digital ID laws have been implemented across the world in recent months, suggesting a broader effort to establish a global system of control.

For years, Aman Jabbi, a Silicon Valley technology veteran, has been warning about the creation of a “digital prison” through the integration of advanced surveillance technologies – including facial recognition, artificial intelligence and a network of surveillance devices – which will enable continuous monitoring and individual identification.

The long-term plan is that “facial recognition will be used to unlock your digital identity,” he said.

In 2025, the British state announced it was about to impose a “mandatory” digital ID on the population, without which they would not be able to work.

The arrogant duplicity behind the roll-out has been jaw-dropping.

The name “Britcard,” for instance, is meant to resonate with feelings of national pride and suggest that it is all about proving how British you are in the face of all those illegal immigrants that somehow keep sneaking into the country.

But the authorities are laughing in the faces of what they consider to be a hopelessly gullible public – the “Brit” in fact stands for “Biometric Registration Identification Tracking”.

And it is not the specific British response to a specific British problem that it is being sold as.

As Jason Bassler points out, new digital ID laws have been lined up and pushed through all across the world in the last three months, from Mexico to Thailand, from Switzerland to Papua New Guinea.

Exclusive: OSHA Admits It Told Healthcare Employers Not to Report COVID Vaccine Injuries

After a whistleblower alerted The Defender, an OSHA spokesperson confirmed an internal directive telling healthcare employers not to report or track COVID-19 vaccine injuries. OSHA removed the policy from its website after inquiries from The Defender. Critics said the directive concealed the scope of vaccine injuries and made it difficult for injured workers to obtain workers’ compensation or disability benefits.

The federal agency that oversees workplace safety exempted healthcare employers from reporting workers’ adverse reactions to mandated COVID-19 vaccines, according to a healthcare industry whistleblower who alerted The Defender

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued the directive on June 28, 2021, to encourage vaccination during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The directive also stated that OSHA, a division of the U.S. Department of Labor, would not track workers’ COVID-19 vaccine adverse events — even though it acknowledged that the vaccines may cause injuries that would require employees to take time off work.

OSHA continued to track reactions to other vaccines.

A Labor Department official confirmed for The Defender that OSHA didn’t track COVID-19 vaccine injuries, and said those policies remained in place until February 2025.

OSHA also outlined its COVID-19 reporting policy on its website’s frequently asked questions page for COVID-19, which stated:

“OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA does not intend to enforce … recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination.”

For more than a year Baron Louis Rothschild, sportsman, patron of art and science and once Austria’s greatest banker, has been a prisoner of the dread Nazi Gestapo in two rooms near that of Kurt von Schuschnigg, last Chancellor of Austria, on the top floor of Vienna’s Hotel Metropole. Aged by a year’s close confinement, the once dapper Baron last week stepped out of a plane in Zurich, Switzerland, a free man again, liberated for an unknown ransom.

Fourth-generation descendant of Mayer Amschel, founder of the Rothschild fortune, Louis was the only one of six children of the Vienna branch of the clan to be an active director of the family business, the Creditanstalt, State bank of the Habsburgs, of which he became president in 1911. The Rothschild bank survived the Austro-Hungarian collapse in 1918, remained Central Europe’s biggest financial house. In 1929, with a typical Rothschild gesture, Baron Louis rushed to Vienna from a hunting expedition, took over the insolvent Bodencreditanstalt, great Austrian bank, the failure of which threatened the nation’s ruin. Two years later the Creditanstalt, weakened by the merger, itself failed, plunging Europe into financial crisis. Prosecution of Baron Louis was dropped when he “voluntarily” handed over $10,000,000 of his private fortune to the Government and resigned as the bank’s president.

Last year, Baron Louis, not so nimble as Brothers Alphonse and Eugene, was caught by the Nazi invasion of Austria. His captors insisted that the Rothschild relatives ransom him by making good more of the bank’s losses. Original demand was rumored to be $10,000,000, but Rothschilds are hard bargainers, and the Nazis are lucky if they got half that.
