I stopped using Bleach when I realized that if I used dish soap in the sink and bleach in the washing machine it would MIX in the pipes and perhaps seep back into the house.
I might use Bleach, but it seems like it's foolish to use it without worrying about ventilation.

when I get a stain I use dish soap on it. So if I spill tomato sauce on a white shirt I'll rinse it an use a bit of dish soap.
I also use Borax pretty much every load.
I find that the Super Washing Soda is a bit strong and I worry about getting rashes from using it so I'd only use it in extreme cases.
I do not use Bleach in my laundry anymore.

It was only after I stopped with the Advil that my hip and knee pain went away.
