I bet they'll know who's a regular on here.

I'm sure that we're already on a list.

If anything, I bet our presence on the list of Anons will catapult us up the listing of potential employees of the federal government.

Application incoming, and I promise to mute my hatred of Chinese Communist Party killers, at least publicly.

But this is, after all, war.

Thank you guys for the Tiger Balm suggestions.

I'm ordering some right now.

I've had this awful pain for a long time and only recently started to get it checked.

Doctor gave me Prednisone a couple of weeks ago, but all that did was make me cranky and feel bloated.

He also gave me something called Flexeril for pain but since I don't ever take drugs or even drink alcohol I figured that would make me too groggy to fight, fight, fight, and I really want to finish up some research for all y'all.

So I've been crabby as can be, but now that there's the possibility of relief through Tiger Balm, I'm already in a better mood.

I don't care if it wrecks clothing because my clothes are already a wreck.

Too much to do to worry about clothes so it's probably a good time to use this stuff and see what happens.

Recheck already scheduled, with X rays, etc.

But maybe I'll be less cranky soon, thanks to you.

>the pain?

Hip pain, Anon.

Right hip.

It hurts like a bugger when I try to walk, and we have dogs so I still walk them.

I thought maybe I developed bursitis but when I tried doing simple exercises to strengthen glutes it made the pain so much worse.

Sometimes it radiates down my leg.

Sometimes it's just a brutal sharp pain in my hip.

Steroids didn't do much, other than make me feel really short-tempered, which is not usual for me.

And like I said above, I don't dare take anything that'll dim my bulb any more than it already is.

So hopefully the radiographs will help.

Those are next up on the schedule.

P.S. It' snot weight-related. I'm not overweight and once the pain got bad I purposely lost some weight, anyway, just to see if going light helped, but the pain's as bad no matter what I weigh (underweight or normal).

So I'll stay hopeful and keep searching, and hopefully I'll less of a jerk (in the privacy of my little office, that is) once I start using Tiger Balm.

Thanks again.

Thank you for taking time to post this advice, Anon.

I hate to make posts about my personal struggles but today I hit a bit of a low after walking some mutts, and I am really tired of having this distracting pain.

I'll definitely get some of the Equate 'Ben Gay' equivalent and take your advice.

Anons have given me all kinds of great advice for various problems, over the years, so I have a feeling today's little vent will result in some relief, thanks to kind people like you.

God bless you and thanks again.

Now I will finally STFU about it, lol.

>how much sugar intake?

None, other than whatever's in Optimum Nutrition protein powder, which I try to drink once a day.

This pain has bugged me for over a year and I decided, in January, to peel off some extra weight to test if that would help.

I switched over to just eating once a day, and that's usually just something like chicken and vegetables or eggs and rice.

Then I drink a protein drink (Optimum Nutrition, whey), and that's it for the day.

Coffee and water for about 20 hours a day, and this simple routine has me feeling like I'm in high school again, other than the pain in my hip.

I have purposely put off investigating it 'cause I wanted to finish a little research project first.

That way, if anything ever happens to me, my work will have already been done.

So we're almost there, and the pain's gotten bad, and hopefully it'll get diagnosed soon so I can get back to not complaining.

But truly, I appreciate the tips from you guys.

Thank you.
