>[RR] exonerated Manafort FOR THE SAME CHARGES (8) years ago.

That is a bit dishonest.

Maybe the same charges, but not for the same offense.

All the spending and money laundering seem related to activities related to Browder, /Magntisky, Ukraine.

MORE RECENT than RR 8 years ago.

A primary focus of the political persecution suffered by Plaintiffs has centered

around Ukraine’s natural gas dealings with Russia, from which certain Defendants, working both inside and outside of government channels, have secured ill-gotten gains over the years. The unfounded criminal “Gas Charges” on which former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was recently arrested and subjected to a political show trial (and the related charges for which a number of other former high ranking Ukrainian officials have also been detained) are part of an

effort by these Defendants to entrench their influence in Ukraine’s natural gas trade by retaliating against and thus silencing Tymoshenko and her political allies, who worked to expose and eliminate Defendants’ corrupt business dealings while in office

I think you are missing the point.

Rod was the good guy in this prior case.

Manafort was involved in a huge conspiracy to disrupt and bankrupt the Ukrainian people

And its probably related to the recent election…
