This was largely a thing of translation ideas of things and they wanted something semi family friendly ok. I know this seems odd but these books especially the other is very violent. I believe it talks of a time before maybe Egypt in this concept of things. This is where it is like maybe dated older then people think but was written some later is all. This is the reality of things it may be in between Genesis and well after it in this way.
