Dark Money British Political Operatives Interfering In American Elections

A few years back, I kept tripping across one of the many “disinformation experts” who popped up during the COVID pandemic like mushrooms on a rotten log after a hard night’s rain. I had no clue who Imran Ahmed was, nor his Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), but the Biden White House plucked him from obscurity to anoint him an expert on COVID vaccines and to censor their critics.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki quoted from a CCDH report, at a July 2021 press briefing, and accused Facebook of undermining Biden’s federal vaccine policies. “There’s about 12 people who are producing 65% of anti-vaccine misinformation on social media platforms,” Psaki claimed, warning social media companies to shut down these “misinformation” accounts. One of the people targeted by that report, just happened to be a direct threat to President Biden—Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was planning to run against Biden as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.

“They’re killing people,” President Biden told a reporter, leveling the charge of murder against Facebook for providing a platform for people such as Kennedy.

Intrigued, I began digging into the Center for Countering Digital Hate. In a 3,300-word investigation for Tablet, I exposed CCDH—not for being a trusted source on vaccines—but as a fraudulent political operation formed by two staffers working for the British Labour Party: Morgan McSweeney and Imran Ahmed. These two characters created CCDH and several other dark money nonprofits to install Keir Starmer as the head of Labour. Starmer is now the Prime Minister of England and Morgan McSweeney is his chief of staff. After its success in the UK, CCDH then began operating in DC and coordinating with Democrats to attack critics of the Biden administration.

Right before the U.S. elections, I released internal documents given to me by a whistleblower working at CCDH that showed the group’s goal was to “Kill Musk’s Twitter.” Co-written with Matt Taibbi, the “Kill Musk’s Twitter” article rocketed across the internet with follow stories appearing in The Spectator, Guardian, The Express Tribune, The Telegraph, UnHerd, and the Washington Post.

Police use water cannons against protesters in Brussels

Tens of thousands took to the streets of the Belgian capital, demanding the government abandon austerity plans

Brussels police have used tear gas and water cannons to disperse mass protests against government-proposed social welfare cuts.

Belgium’s three biggest unions organized the demonstration and called a general strike on Tuesday, in opposition to Prime Minister Bart de Wever’s proposed measures to raise the pension age and cut social benefits.

The protest organizers told local media that up to 120,000 people took to the streets, while police estimated the number at 80,000.

Footage of the demonstration shows protesters clashing with law enfocement, throwing fireworks and waving flags and placards.

Police in full riot gear could be seen using tear gas grenades and deploying water cannons against the crowd.

Gert Truyens, president of the CGSLB union, said that the protest had to be cut short after a violent minority among the demonstrators clashed with the police, according to HLN.

”These aren’t protesters, but people running amok,” the newspaper cited him as saying.

Over the course of the day, the general strike seriously affected public transport services and froze departures at Brussels’ largest airport.

De Wever, who was elected in February, has proposed austerity measures to tackle the country’s ballooning budget deficit.

Madagascar military seizes power – media

The army has dissolved institutions after President Andry Rajoelina was impeached amid mass protests and political unrest

Madagascar’s army has said it has taken control of the country after President Andry Rajoelina was impeached, numerous media outlets reported on Tuesday. The announcement came amid mass protests and a deepening political crisis.

Colonel Michael Randrianirina made the statement on national radio, saying “we have taken power” and that all institutions except the lower house of parliament were being dissolved, as quoted by France24.

The announcement came shortly after 130 lawmakers voted to impeach Rajoelina, with one blank ballot cast, according to witnesses cited by Reuters.

Opposition leader Siteny Randrianasoloniaiko rejected Rajoelina’s earlier attempt to dissolve the National Assembly, calling it “not legally valid.”

According to RFI, Rajoelina fled the southern African country under a reported deal with French President Emmanuel Macron. He later appeared in a broadcast from an undisclosed location. Rajoelina confirmed he had left the country, saying he feared for his life after the military rebellion. The leader called for dialogue and insisted that the constitution be respected, but did not yield to pressure to step down.

Madagascar has faced unrest since September 25, when protests under the ‘Gen Z Madagascar’ banner over power and water shortages grew into broader anger over poverty and corruption. Rajoelina had dissolved his cabinet in late September and appointed a new prime minister to ease tensions.

However, tensions spiked when elite CAPSAT soldiers joined demonstrators, who gave Rajoelina 48 hours to step down. He denounced the events as an attempted power grab and urged “national forces” to defend the constitution.

Evacuations Ordered In Southern California Amid First Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Over 17 Years

Parts of Los Angeles are currently under evacuation warnings, particularly due to their vulnerability to mudslides, as a severe storm system moves south through California. Pacific Palisades, destroyed by the wildfire disaster in January, is included in the warning areas.

The warnings come as a powerful low pressure-area unleashes heavy rainfall, severe thunderstorms and the possibility of a rare tornado in Southern California.

Mandatory evacuations were ordered Monday night for around 115 houses within the warning area, with the homes facing the highest risk of mudslides and debris flows, officials in Los Angeles said, according to ABC7 Eyewitness News. Police went from house to house paying a visit to the at-risk homes.

The evacuation warning is effective until Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. local time for the parts of Southern California in Mandeville, as well as areas devastated by the Sunset and Hurst fires, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Parts of Southern California, including Los Angeles, are currently under a severe thunderstorm watch until11:00 a.m. local time, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The alert is the first Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the area of Los Angeles in over 17 years, with the last one taking place Jan. 27, 2008.

Other areas in California have seen flooding alerts be issued, including San Luis Obispo County who had a Flash Flood Warning active Tuesday morning, according to Fox Weather. In Southern California, Orange County and a good chunk of Los Angeles County were issued Flood Watches, with the biggest concern being the areas with burn scars.

Southern California could see heavy rainfall of 1-4 inches, with the worst of the downpours happening by Tuesday evening to the north and east of the region.

The CCP’s United Front Network in America’s Heartland, Part III

In Part I of this joint investigation by the Breitbart News Foundation (BNF) and the Government Accountability Institute (GAI), it was revealed that from a single brick building on North Eustis Street in St. Paul, Minnesota, a web of pro-Beijing nonprofits and businesses collaborate with the Overseas Chinese Service Center of Minnesota (Minnesota OCSC), which itself works directly with the Chinese Communist Party’s United Front Work Department.

Part II revealed that the public University of Minnesota email account of Dr. Bingwen Yan — the “person in charge” of the Minnesota OCSC — is listed on official Chinese Communist Party (CCP) websites as the official contact for the Minnesota OCSC, and that any communications that may have been taking place on that email address could prove useful to any investigation of whether the CCP is operating another “police station” in Minnesota.

Now, in Part III, BNF and GAI turn their focus on another Chinese-born businessman with connections to this network in St. Paul, Minnesota: Ma Yuanzhuo, aka Vincent Mar.

Since graduating from University of Minnesota in 1985, Vincent Mar has been operating within a vast network of cultural, political, and economic exchanges between the Chinese government and influential figures in the United States. Public records show that over the past twenty years, Mar has held leadership positions at several organizations that operate under the guidance of the CCP’s United Front Work Department (UFWD). Some of these groups were described in our previous reports, such as the Chinese American Association of Minnesota (CAAM) and the Minnesota Chinese World, which are both connected to the Minnesota OCSC on North Eustis Street. Mar was a founding co-director of the OCSC.

Mar has also served as an officer of two entities that some China experts believe are front groups for CCP intelligence operations: the China Overseas Exchange Association (COEA) and the Chinese Overseas Friendship Association (COFA). Mar was heavily involved with both groups leading up to May 28, 2019, when he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping and top CCP officials in Beijing for the 9th World Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations and the 1st Council Conference of the 5th China Overseas Friendship Association. Here it was decided that COFA and COEA would be merged into the UFWD as a single unified platform.

Mar’s most prominent United Front position was serving as a Deputy Secretary-General of the China Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Promotion Association. This group is directly supervised by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ACFROC), which China experts identify as a “key united front organization.” The CCP’s Central Committee has described ACFROC as “a bridge and a bond for the party and government to connect with overseas Chinese compatriots.” Recently, a Chinese-American ACFROC member (and former aide to New York Governors Andrew Cuomo and Kathleen Hochul) named “Linda Sun” was indicted for visa fraud, money laundering, wire fraud, bribery, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. Prosecutors allege Sun was a covert CCP agent. In 2019, Sun joined ACFROC, but she failed to disclose her roles and benefits (including travel and lodging) as required by New York State ethics rules.

Nine Palestinians were killed less than 24 hours after the US and Arab states signed the ceasefire deal in Sharm el-Sheikh

Israeli forces killed at least nine Palestinians in Gaza on 14 October, despite the newly signed ceasefire agreement meant to halt violence across the Strip. According to multiple Palestinian media sources, three bodies were brought to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, and six more arrived at Gaza City’s Baptist Hospital after a day marked by Israeli drone strikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire.

Eyewitnesses say civilians in Gaza City’s Shujaiya neighborhood, inspecting their destroyed homes, were targeted by an Israeli quadcopter. Other attacks were reported in Jabalia, Al-Tarans, and Khan Yunis’ Al-Tahlia area, where one young man was killed near Al-Fukhari.

The Israeli army stated it killed five Palestinians for crossing the “Yellow Line,” a buffer boundary under the withdrawal deal, and justified it as an act to “remove the threat.”

However, the IDF’s account has been met with skepticism, as several victims were reportedly within civilian safe zones, not near Israeli troops.

A DropSite News investigation found that Israeli troops from several brigades set fire to homes and infrastructure across Gaza City as they withdrew between 9–10 October. The deliberate destruction targeted civilian life and property, compounding the devastation.

These attacks followed the release of the bodies of four Israeli hostages by Hamas, and the exchange of 20 living hostages for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners in a US-Egypt brokered deal announced at the Sharm el-Sheikh summit.

Despite the start of the ceasefire and agreements at the summit, Israeli operations leading to Palestinian deaths continue, casting doubt over the prospects for a real peace or a sustained end to the suffering in Gaza.

Israel on Tuesday decided not to reopen the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt the next day, as required by the ceasefire deal, accusing Hamas of failing to stand by its commitment to return the bodies of all dead hostages still held by Palestinian terrorists in the Strip.

Israel said it would also reduce the amount of aid flowing into Gaza as part of the sanctions against the terror group.

The moves followed assessments by Israeli defense officials that Hamas has not made significant efforts to return the remaining bodies of the hostages, and amid rising anger among their families, with the main group representing them demanding that the ceasefire agreement’s implementation be halted until their loved ones are returned.

Meanwhile, a senior Red Cross official told The Times of Israel that the transfer of the bodies of four additional slain hostages was slated to take place at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, confirming earlier reports.

Some bereaved families also fumed after they received a letter from the government expressing sadness at the “heavy price” they paid, which the letter said helped lead to “the end of the war and the return of all the hostages.”

Iranian strike in Tel Aviv uncovered secret intel base below residential complex: Report

Israeli military censorship has prevented the release of information on the several sensitive sites struck by Iran during the 12-day war

Iran struck a tower in central Tel Aviv during the 12-day war in June that sat directly above a sensitive, underground Israeli intelligence base.

The underground bunker is jointly administered by the US and Israeli militaries and is referred to as Site 81, according to leaked emails, public documents, and Hebrew reports cited by the Gray Zone on 13 October.

The outlet has geolocated the site, which sits right under the Da Vinci apartment complex that was struck by Iranian ballistic missiles on 13 June.

It also cites an image from a 2013 US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) study revealing a “basement test site” for the construction of the underground site. The image was also geolocated to the area of the Da Vinci apartment complex.

In late June, a resident of the area told Israeli newspaper Haaretz that the apartment towers surrounding Israel’s Kyria (defense headquarters) and other sensitive sites in Tel Aviv were built to “protect” military installations, essentially serving as shields.

The area where Site 81 and the Kirya sit is densely populated. Nearby sites include the Canarit Israeli Air Force Towers,

The moment the building was hit, footage showed a Fox News reporter at the scene being aggressively rushed away by Israeli security forces.

During the war, heavy Israeli military censorship prevented the release of information on many of the sensitive army and intelligence sites struck by Iran.

Israel suspended the broadcasts of several international media organizations, threatening to detain anyone filming the sites of missile impacts.

After the 12-day war ended, Israel’s Channel 13 said that there “were a lot of Iranian missile hits on IDF bases, in strategic sites that we still don't report about,” adding that the lack of reporting due to heavy censorship has “created a situation where people don't realize how precise the Iranians were and how much damage they caused in many places.”

Lawsuit Alleges University Met Jewish Safety Advocacy With ‘Unwarranted Criticism’

California State University, Northridge, is facing a wrongful termination lawsuit from an employee who alleges he was fired “because of his political views against antisemitism and advocacy on behalf of Jewish students and faculty.”

Sam Lingrosso, the university’s former Director of Academic Employees Relations, says in a complaint that his December 2024 firing was the result of his efforts to assist Jewish faculty who raised safety concerns related to on-campus antisemitism in the wake of Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel, especially near its one-year anniversary. According to a news release, Lingrosso is seeking damages under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act.

“CSUN had a duty to protect their Jewish faculty members and ensure a safe learning environment, free of threats and harassment,” Eyal Farahan, an attorney with the Peter Law Group, which filed the complaint, said in a statement. “Sam’s work should have been celebrated but, instead, he was unlawfully terminated in violation of multiple California statutes that protect employees from harassment.”

The 2023 attacks led to a surge in anti-Israel activism and antisemitic incidents on college campuses throughout the United States. The demonstrations, which ranged from encampments to protests, raised major red flags for Jewish students and staff on those campuses.

In the complaint, it outlines how Lingrosso asked campus police to “facilitate a safety plan” for a professor who raised concerns about “unsettling remarks written on posters he had displayed outside his office depicting American hostages in Israel” and voiced concerns that Jewish students had of “harassment or violence” in the wake of “pro-Palestinian demonstrations on campus.”

Attorneys for the plaintiff wrote in the complaint that Interim Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs Christina L. Von Mayrhauser had given “unwarranted criticism” and undermined Lingrosso, saying it was “a direct consequence of Plaintiff’s proactive efforts to protect the safety and well-being of Jewish faculty and students.” In one incident, the aforementioned professor sent an email to “Jewish faculty and allies” thanking Lingrosso for his efforts to improve address safety concerns, but Von Mayrhauser allegedly took issue with a line in the professor’s message.

“The contrast between Plaintiff’s decisive actions and others’ inaction — particularly in Professor Katz’s statement that Plaintiff ‘has been focused on DOING things rather than talking about them’ — was interpreted by Von Mayrhauser as a direct affront to her leadership. Her reaction was marked by visible displeasure and indignation, as she viewed the email as an attack on her authority and an attempt to undermine her credibility within the institution,” the complaint states.

Farahan added that campus leadership “failed to take meaningful action to confront hate and ultimately fostered a climate of indifference and fear” amid serious antisemitism woes at universities nationwide.

The university disagreed with the claims made in the lawsuit in a statement to The Daily Wire on Monday afternoon.

“California State University, Northridge is aware of a legal complaint filed by a former at-will employee. These spurious allegations are completely unfounded and the University will vigorously defend against them. The University remains committed to maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment for our entire campus community,” the university said in a statement.

'Deadass serious': FBI goes to Glenn Beck's home after he helped expose Antifa's terror network

The Trump administration appears keen to weaponize Glenn Beck's insights about leftist terrorists.

President Donald Trump designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization in the wake of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk's assassination by a radical assassin who allegedly etched Antifa slogans into his bullet casings.

In the interest of obliging Trump and finally destroying Antifa, the Justice Department and the FBI have evidently appealed to the expertise of some of those Americans who chronicled Antifa terrorists' crimes, analyzed their tactics, and identified their supporters while authorities previously sat on their hands.

'It was surreal.'

Antifa is an anarcho-communist militant group that has long threatened lives and property throughout the Western world.

In a show that debuted on Oct. 8 titled "Unmasking Antifa: The Dark Truth Behind Its Well-Funded Network," Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck took a deep dive, "shattering the myth" that Antifa is leaderless and decentralized.

"We analyzed the Antifa network," Beck said with regard to his show last week. "And we went from the street thugs, to the support groups, eventually to the funding."

Beck added, "To say the FBI was interested in this might be an understatement."

Just days after the show's initial broadcast, Beck received a knock on the door from the FBI.

"Let's just say the FBI is turning over every single stone," continued Beck. "It is so clear to me that they are exploring all angles of this, and they are talking to anyone and everyone that can give them any kind of information.

"How do I know?" Beck asked. He then immediately began to explain why he is confident that federal authorities are serious about Antifa this time.

Beck indicated that he was informed in a phone call Saturday that FBI Director Kash Patel wanted to send some agents over to speak with him.

"It was surreal," said Beck. "At one point, I talked to them for about 15 minutes just going over the Tides Foundation. And saying, 'If you understand Tides, you'll understand how difficult your job is going to be.' And this is information that I first gave on Fox years ago."

Reflecting on the bureau's newfound interest in stamping out leftist terrorism, Beck noted, "Finally, we have an administration and an FBI director that is willing to go in deep. Not surface.
