Neera Tanden Admits Under Oath She Directed Biden Autopen Signings
Neera Tanden, former senior adviser to former President Joe Biden and current head of the Center for American Progress (CAP), admitted during closed-door testimony Tuesday that she personally directed the use of Biden’s autopen signature device from October 2021 through May 2023, a period during which six criminals were pardoned using the autopen.
Appearing before the House Oversight Committee, Tanden stated under oath that she was authorized to approve the autopen’s use but denied any wrongdoing. She also claimed she relinquished control of the autopen after taking over leadership of the White House Domestic Policy Council in late May 2023.
Pressed by reporters during a break in the hearing, Tanden dismissed any connection between her role and concerns over former President Biden’s declining health, insisting there was “absolutely not” a cover-up involved.

While the Italian tenor appeared to give an impromptu performance in the Oval Office, Trump stood behind the Resolute Desk as Bocelli stood in front, wearing a black suit and tie with sunglasses on.
"Listen to this," Trump said as "Time to Say Goodbye" started playing in the Oval Office.
