You know, if I could go back in time and debate one of the apostles, it'd be Peter. There's a few things in the 2nd Book of Peter that I don't think he fully thought out from start to finish, and left a little restrictive due to the requirements and limitations of that time in history. Particularly the part about loving the world. Is the world not one of His creations? When you love a brother, is that not loving one of God's creations? I don't think it's wrong to love God's creations along with God. There's enough room in the heart for both, because the creations stemmed from God anyway, the world is Him, just another facet of Him.
