Great post to start my shift of finishing up some research for all y'all.

I just got a much-needed laugh out loud at this 'cause we've had German Shepherds and just started casually looking for a new one.

This has been a rough few weeks of us losing our senior dogs; we lost one in August, one last week, and we have another one on her very last legs (any day).

We knew they wouldn't last forever, but it's just been a little hard to see the house quiet down so much so quickly as they pass away from their health problems. We didn't plan to have a bunch at the same age, but they got old together and now they're passing away from various maladies.

Anyway, this new German Shepherd will be a youngster who won't die of old age for a very long time. We usually get rescues, so when it's time to get the German Shepherd puppy I think we'll get an older Shepherd who needs a home, too, just because I like giving senior dogs a nice retirement.

Well, I've had German Shepherd puppies on the brain a lot this week, and it's good to see (in the referenced post) that they bite ANTIFA creeps, 'cause ANTIFA hadn't even been invented when we owned our last German Shepherd.

All I want is a dog that'll shred the bad guys long enough to give me time to grab my gun(s) out of my holster(s) or rack my Remington 870. . . .
