WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — An active FBI investigation has prompted the closure of all eastbound and westbound lanes of Southern Boulevard between Congress Avenue and Military Trail in West Palm Beach.
The road was shut down Saturday afternoon. As of Sunday at 11 a.m., Southern Boulevard remains closed to traffic in both directions.
Authorities say the roadway will remain closed until further notice. Drivers are urged to avoid the area, expect significant delays, and use alternate routes.
No additional details have been released about the nature of the investigation.
