JUST WANTED TO REMIND ANONS that in the music business the only rule on publicity is:
"I don't care what the newspapers say about me as long as they spell my name right."
Publicity is publicity.
Good, bad, or otherwise.
PR folks have been known to plant their own bad publicity to get the client name out there, in order to spin it the way they want it.
Celebrities have been known to leak their own 'bad news' to tabloids (for pay of course!) in order to garner another 15 minute stretch of attention when they are dropping a new film, book, or recording and can piggy back the new product on the 'bad news.'
The BIG game is, and has always been, getting the name out there in a field crowded with others seeking same.
So I consider getting Q's name 'out there' mission accomplished kek and now we watch the master spin! MSM is in its death throes and Q is the funeral director.
Watch the backtracking and attempted explanations for our movement that are already creeping out. And remember that the advertisers / sponsors are the lifeblood of any legit media operation.
