Does anyone know if this is a direct statement from Wray? Or is this just a renegade FBI official? It’s clear that Wray does not have complete or even near complete control over the Bureau. The same can be said of Sessions at the DoJ. All of this Memo pushback is coming from the bad acting holdovers who have everything to lose from the release of an unredacted Memo. It’s time for Wray and Sessions to pick a side.
