IDF strikes Hezbollah weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon

This evening (Thursday), the IDF struck a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the area of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon. The facility was used by the terrorist organization to advance and carry out attacks against the State of Israel.
"The Hezbollah terrorist organization continues to attempt to rebuild terror infrastructure sites across Lebanon, while endangering Lebanese civilians and using them as human shields," the IDF said.
"The presence of the terror infrastructure site constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF will continue to operate in order to remove any threat posed to the State of Israel."
Earlier, the IDF announced that during an overnight activity that was completed yesterday (Wednesday), IDF troops, in cooperation with Unit 504, apprehended several suspects who attempted to smuggle weapons from Syrian territory to Lebanon in the Hermon Summit area in Syria.
As part of the activity, IDF troops identified suspicious movement. Immediately after the detection, IDF troops apprehended the suspects who attempted to smuggle weapons.
The suspects were transferred for questioning, and the weapons were confiscated.
"IDF troops continue to be deployed in the area in order to protect Israeli civilians and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular," the IDF stated.

IDF seizes cash, equipment and Hitler’s manifesto in West Bank raid

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have reported that over the past week, Israeli paratroopers under the Judea Regional Brigade conducted an operation at the offices of the “Islamic Charity Association” in Hebron to halt terrorism financing and seize materials inciting violence.
“The association, which presents itself as aiding the needy, in practice serves as an organisational arm of the Hamas terrorist organisation and works to promote incitement to terror and to recruit and channel funds to finance the organisation’s terrorist activities.
It is one of numerous branches in the Judea and Samaria region,” the IDF press office stated, as per Caliber.Az.
According to the statement, as part of the activity, approximately 165,700 shekels ($50,200) in terrorist funds were located and confiscated.
“In addition, Adolf Hitler’s manifesto 'Mein Kampf' was located in the compound, along with equipment used for incitement.
The troops sealed off the main entrance of the compound where the incitement materials and funds were located,” the statement reads.
The Islamic Charity Association, also known as the Islamic Charitable Society in Hebron, was founded in the early 1960s as a welfare organisation providing aid to orphans, education, and social support across the West Bank.
Over the years, however, Israeli authorities have repeatedly accused the group of functioning as part of Hamas’s financial and organisational network, using its humanitarian activities as cover for recruiting members and funding militant operations.
The association’s offices have been raided several times since the mid-2000s, and in October 2025, Israeli forces again seized cash, documents, and propaganda materials during a security operation in Hebron.
While the IDF claims the group acts as a Hamas front, the organisation maintains that it is a purely charitable body focused on civilian welfare and has condemned the closures as politically motivated.

File on Bizarre Argentine UFO Event Deemed Classified for National Security Reasons

In an eyebrow-raising story out of Argentina, a police report concerning a recent UFO incident involving mesmerized cattle has been deemed classified for national security reasons by government officials.
According to a local media outlet, the bizarre event occurred on August 14th in the village of Candioti when police received word that multiple residents had observed a "white light with violet flashes" floating over the community.
An officer dispatched to investigate the UFO sighting was soon alerted to a strange commotion unfolding among the animals at a ranch along the way. Arriving at the location, he likely could not believe his eyes at the wondrous scene before him.
To the astonishment of the officer and other witnesses, the ranch's cows were eerily walking in a circle beneath the mysterious ball of light hovering overhead.
Meanwhile, the property's horses were thrashing around in a manner suggesting that they were deeply disturbed by what was unfolding around them.
After a few minutes, the UFO suddenly vanished. Its disappearance seemingly broke the spell cast over the animals as the horses immediately calmed down, and the cows stopped their ritualistic circling.
Silence fell over the field, with the witnesses understandably wondering what they had just seen.
As one might imagine, word of the weird incident quickly spread beyond the borders of Candioti and caught the attention of Argentine UFO researcher Andrea Pérez Simondini.
Attempting to learn more about the odd August event, he filed an official information request for the police report from the officer that evening.
The response surprised the seasoned UFO investigator as he was told that the file was classified "because it is within the exceptions provided for public and national security reasons."
If officials hoped that their answer would quell interest in the case, the tactic likely backfired as it only made the incident all the more compelling.

Wuerzburg Researchers Test UAP/UFO Detection Observatory on Zugspitze-Summit in the Alps

Wuerzburg (Germany) – On the terrace of the Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus, located just below the summit of Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze, researchers from the „Interdisciplinary Research Center for Extraterrestrial Studies“ (IFEX) at the University of Wuerzburg have installed a new AI-based camera observatory designed to detect unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
The AllSkyCAM system will also serve as a test platform for potential future deployment on Mars.

For several years, the IFEX team under Professor Hakan Kayal has developed and tested various versions of its „SkyCAM“-systems at different locations.
In addition to installations at the so-called “Blue Box” in Hessdalen, Norway — a high mountain valley known for decades of recurring mysterious light and UFO sightings (the so-called Hessdalen Phenomena) — another system operates on the roof of the University of Würzburg.
There, it is used to train an AI algorithm to distinguish between known and mundane aerial objects (such as insects, birds, aircraft, satellites, or meteors) and unknown anomalous objects, appearances, or phenomena.
The SkyCAM-series is based on the IFEX-developed concept known as „Anomaly Detection and Observation System“ (ADEOS).
This future system is intended for the detection and monitoring of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and consists of a range of different sensor types controlled via a client-server architecture.
One of its key optical components is an all-sky camera operating in the visible wavelength range, which forms the system’s core. ADEOS is designed to be gradually expanded and operated at multiple locations depending on available resources.
Beyond its terrestrial stations, the Würzburg researchers are also pursuing a truly distant goal: as part of the VaMEx of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).research initiative, which is developing a German Mars mission to explore the vast Valles Marineris canyon system, IFEX is contributing concept studies and prototypes for its VaMEx 3 project „MarsSymphony“.
Alongside a swarm of drone probes — designed to distribute themselves across a large area by rotating like maple seeds — the team led by Kayal is also developing the mission’s data relay unit, responsible for communication between Mars-based probes and satellites relaying data to Earth.
This so-called gateway unit will also incorporate an ADEOS-based SkyCAM system to monitor the Martian sky for unidentified objects or phenomena.
As both an expansion of the global SkyCAM network and a testbed for potential Mars deployment, the IFEX team has now successfully installed the newest model, SkyCAM-7, on the terrace of the Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus station below the Zugspitze summit.
Resembling the headquarters of a James Bond villain, the former hotel sits at 2,656 meters above sea level and now serves as Germany’s highest research station, hosting several national scientific institutions.
From the start, SkyCAM-7 will be exposed to extreme alpine weather conditions.
Installed just in time before the onset of the harsh alpine winter, the SkyCAM-7 observatory represents a deliberate test version. “The system is being tested at the Zugspitze for a reason,” Prof. Kayal explains.
“The AllSkyCAM system consists of several cameras that together capture the entire visible sky. Operating continuously, it assists in studying known atmospheric objects such as clouds or meteors, as well as potentially detecting new phenomena like unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).”
With its installation on the Zugspitze, SkyCAM-7 is currently the world’s highest UAP observatory — and is simultaneously being tested under Mars-like extreme conditions.

UFOs over Tuscany: the mystery of Italy’s 1954 autumn wave

It was October 27, 1954, and AC Fiorentina were facing off against Pistoiese in a friendly match in front of 10,000 spectators.
Suddenly, play came to a standstill as the eyes of the players and crowd turned towards the sky, where formations of strange, silvery objects moved silently above the Artemio Franchi stadium. Some described a cigar-shaped craft, others spoke of glowing spheres.
As the mysterious objects drifted away, white, thread-like strands began falling from the sky. Most attempts to gather the substance were unsuccessful, as it tended to dissolve instantly at the touch.
Nevertheless, Alfredo Jacopozzi, a young student at the University of Florence, managed to collect samples that he sent to the university’s Institute of Chemical Analysis, where Professor Giovanni Canneri reported that the substance had a fibrous structure made up primarily of boron, silicon, calcium, magnesium and other elements.
The next day, La Nazione coined the term bambagia silicea to describe the mysterious material.
The plot thickened the following evening, October 28, in Rome, when luminous objects were reported by various onlookers, including Clare Boothe Luce, the U.S. Ambassador to Italy. Just as in Florence, strange fibrous rain fell over the Eternal City.
A few days later, on November 1, in the town of Cennina in the province of Arezzo, farmer Rosa Lotti Dainelli set out at dawn to attend All Saints’ Day mass when she reported stumbling upon a metallic, double-coned object lying in a field along a country path. According to her testimony, two humanoid figures emerged from nearby, child-sized and wearing tight grey suits, helmets and capes.
They took her flowers and stockings, spoke in an unfamiliar tongue, and gestured with apparent friendliness. One even pointed a tubular device at her, as if taking a photograph. Lotti fled, terrified.
Her testimony, rather than immediately dismissed as fantasy, was corroborated by others in the area who claimed to have seen glowing objects moving through the skies around Arezzo. The Carabinieri later confirmed a ground impression at the spot where Lotti said the object had stood.
The strange phenomena continued: on November 6 in Rome, small luminous globes were again observed, this time over the Vatican City, and on November 14 in Gela, Sicily, with bambagia silicea again reported falling from the sky.
What was happening across the Italian peninsula?
Skeptics have offered a range of explanations, most notably the phenomenon of spider ballooning, where spiders use silk threads to ride air currents.
The timing in October matches a spike in spider migration; however, critics note that the reported chemical composition (as per Canneri’s analysis) seems inconsistent with purely organic silk.
CICAP, the Italian Committee for the Investigation of Claims on Pseudosciences, later suggested the material could have been radar chaff from military aircraft, consistent with the presence of U.S. Navy squadrons and the aircraft carrier Lake Champlain, which were operating in the region at the time.
But no single explanation accounts for every detail of the sightings that autumn, especially in relation to the Lotti case.
That anomaly, along with the Florence stadium sighting and the repeated bambagia silicea rain, collectively suggest a multifaceted phenomenon: part atmospheric oddity, part cultural moment, part Cold War anxiety and media amplification, and perhaps even part mystery that still eludes scientific closure.
Seventy-plus years later, the events of autumn 1954 endure in local lore and UFO studies, inviting more questions than answers.
