List of people arrested in NBA gambling, rigged poker scandals

The FBI on Thursday, Oct. 23, announced the arrest of more than 30 people in connection with a pair of alleged gambling rings on charges of conspiring to commit fraud, money laundering, illegal gambling and extortion.

Among those arrested were Basketball Hall of Famer and current Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups, Miami Heat guard and 10-year NBA veteran Terry Rozier and former Cleveland Cavaliers player and coach Damon Jones.

The investigations involved an alleged insider sports-betting conspiracy and an alleged scheme to rig illegal poker games. Several people, including Jones, were named in both.

Here is the full list of people, along with their aliases, included in the two indictments:

"A large woman with a menthol cigarette hanging out of her mouth."

Damn near identical image of my grandmother, only with a regular king-size cigarette instead of a menthol, a pack a day into her 80's until the 2nd stroke. That was big grandma, what we used to call her. My family never resorted to physical violence or weapons though, just words. Guess I know where I picked my sharp tongue up from. I'm really liking this book and glad I decided to give it a listen.

Well, come to think of it, I do remember a story of my aunt pissing my grandma off so she threw a fork at my aunt and it stabbed into her ass, her bolting from the house, and the rest of my aunts and uncles laughing their asses off after they followed her outside and watched a fork stuck in my aunt's ass bouncing up and down as she ran bawling to the neighbor's house. It was a fond memory for them at gatherings. Guess that could be considered an instance of a weapon. Or how she used to hide shit on my grandfather when he was passed out drunk. Lot of similarities. KEK!
