🚨🇺🇸 BAY AREA IMMIGRATION PROTEST ENDS IN GUNFIRE AS U-HAUL DRIVES AT POLICE

Police opened fire on a U-Haul truck that reversed toward officers outside the U.S. Coast Guard base in Alameda, California - the site of day-long protests against Trump’s planned immigration enforcement surge in the Bay Area.

Eyewitnesses say the driver had been loitering all day before suddenly accelerating toward police, prompting gunfire. Protesters reportedly screamed for him to stop moments before shots rang out.

The driver fled on foot after parking the truck nearby. His identity and condition remain unknown. Oakland PD is investigating and expected to give an update soon.
