That’s a shame though- you have to pay the medical industrial complex and go on their grid with office visits to get help. Imagine if you didn’t get their clot shot. I volunteer at a seniors organization that has been chartered since 1966. They chose not to get swallowed up by government run offices of the aging or senior centers because they still wanted to say grace before meals and open with the pledge of allegiance, and keep control of their own choices.
The group has been dropped from food redistribution programs on the basis of (we’re just protecting everybody!). The volunteer directors (no ngo, no federal money, supported inky through local fundraising) expect with the current rate of government pressure to get under their control, this group has maybe 5 years left.
Of all our local churches who haves helped since 1966, only one still dies, because it hasn’t fallen into “well you’re not government approved”.
It’s been a 501 3c since the law required it. So what they really mean is, ‘your individual members are not in our tracking grid’.
You think you’re doing good to say ‘you have to gave a government approval before you can get help) but is that the best option? Maybe make individuals accountable - and make it a crime to put your family and all your friends on the food program you work for.
Well hopefully after the illegals are gone there will be more food available. And government grid requirements to get it will lighten too.
