Ya know. Reptilians make sense. Much lower potential oxygen, heat and nutrition loads to survive. Ability to hibernate for long periods in near anaerobic environments, potential to survive frozen for extended periods.
Look at the lifespans of many reptiles and amphibians and you can easily see the survival advantages they have.
Maybe the Earth on the back of a tortoise isn't too far fetched?
