Trump responds to Russian test of unlimited-range cruise missile
27 Oct, 2025 09:02
Washington and Moscow “are not playing games” with nuclear deterrence, US President Donald Trump has said, responding to Russia’s announcement of a successful test of its nuclear-powered Burevestnik cruise missile.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Monday, Trump was asked whether he views the Russian report as saber-rattling.
“They are not playing games with us. We are not playing games with them either. We test missiles all the time,” he said.
On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Burevestnik – a nuclear-powered cruise missile capable of virtually unlimited range – successfully completed a key flight test.
The report was delivered to President Vladimir Putin by Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov during a meeting with senior military officials.
Trump also referenced his own decision to move two US nuclear submarines closer to Russian waters, commenting: “we don’t need to go 8,000 miles” – the distance the Russian missile reportedly flew during testing.
He added that the announcement is not “appropriate,” saying: “A war that should have taken one week is now in its soon fourth year. That’s what [Putin] ought to do instead of testing missiles,” Trump said.
The Burevestnik system, powered by a miniature nuclear reactor, is designed to remain airborne for extended periods – potentially months – and strike from unpredictable directions.
Moscow says the weapon will bolster Russia’s strategic deterrent once it enters service. According to Gerasimov, the latest trial included flight maneuvers aimed at testing the missile’s ability to evade interception.
The missile is understood to be significantly smaller and cheaper than regular intercontinental ballistic missiles, which deliver their payload via a suborbital launch.

Encircled Ukrainian units ‘being destroyed’ – Russian military
27 Oct, 2025 13:48
Russian forces are continuing operations to eliminate Ukrainian troops trapped in two encircled pockets on the front line, the Defense Ministry in Moscow said on Monday.
The ministry reported that Ukrainian forces near Kupyansk made three unsuccessful attempts to break through the Russian blockade, suffering losses of up to 50 soldiers and six pieces of heavy equipment.
In a separate area near Krasnoarmeysk (also known as Pokrovsk), another 60 Ukrainian servicemen were reportedly killed, while two armored vehicles and three cars were destroyed.
At a high-level military meeting on Sunday, Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov informed President Vladimir Putin that approximately 5,000 Ukrainian soldiers were surrounded near Kupyansk and another 5,500 near Krasnoarmeysk.
Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has rejected Russia’s assertions, calling them “fake news meant for the United States.”
Kiev insists that its troops remain combat-capable and that Russian advances don’t pose a threat for a strategic breakthrough.
Zelensky has repeatedly dismissed reports of major Ukrainian setbacks while appealing to Western donors for additional funding and arms.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian soldiers and officers interviewed by local and Western outlets have accused the government of ordering them to hold untenable positions for political reasons rather than military necessity.

Ukrainians arrested in Poland on espionage charges
27 Oct, 2025 10:40
Two Ukrainian citizens have been arrested in Poland on suspicion of conducting espionage for a foreign intelligence agency, Warsaw’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) announced on Monday.
The arrests took place on October 14 in the southern city of Katowice. Both men – aged 32 and 34 – were charged the same day, according to the ABW statement. The agency declined to name the suspects, citing reasons of national security.
According to investigators, the two had been collecting intelligence on Poland’s military and critical infrastructure, including facilities and routes used for delivering Western weapons to Ukraine.
The ABW said it had uncovered evidence of payments made for their surveillance services “and other criminal activities.”
The men were allegedly recruited sometime between May 2023 and August 2025, the Polish authorities said.
Warsaw is among the most vocal supporters of Kiev's war effort against Russia. However, bilateral relations have been undermined by several sources of friction.
Poland was among several Eastern European nations which banned imports of Ukrainian grain after a relaxation of restrictions on such imports by the European Commission suppressed local prices and caused widespread protests by farmers.
Polish officials have also repeatedly criticized Kiev’s lionization of Ukrainian nationalist figures who were involved in massacres of Polish nationals during World War II.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki has proposed criminalizing public support for the ideology of Stepan Bandera, a Nazi collaborator who is considered a national hero in Ukraine.

Sudanese militia claims capture of army headquarters
27 Oct, 2025 11:04
Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) says it has captured the army’s headquarters in the war-torn city of Al-Fashir.
The North Darfur capital has been under blockade by the militia for more than a year, with the UN reporting widespread attacks on civilians, including the killing and maiming of more than 1,000 children.
An RSF spokesperson said in a statement on Sunday that the group had taken complete control of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) Sixth Infantry Division command after “heroic battles marked by precise operations and strategic sieges.”
“The liberation… represents a pivotal milestone in the battles waged by our valiant forces. It outlines the contours of a new state that all Sudanese will participate in building,” the RSF official stated.
The Sixth Infantry Division headquarters is said to be the army’s last stronghold in Darfur, where fighting between the SAF and the RSF has raged for more than two years.
The RSF has been accused of targeting civilians in repeated drone and artillery strikes since it placed Al-Fashir under siege in April 2024.
An estimated 260,000 civilians, including 130,000 children, remain trapped in desperate conditions and cut off from aid inside the city, according to UN figures.
At least 20 people were killed earlier this month in strikes on a mosque and on the Saudi Hospital, the city’s last functioning medical facility after around 100 civilians were killed in September, according to rights groups.
On Sunday, UN Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher said he is “deeply alarmed” by the situation in Al-Fashir and called for an immediate ceasefire across Sudan.
He stated that fighters continue pushing further into the city, cutting off escape routes and leaving trapped civilians starving and terrified.
The war between the army and the RSF, which erupted in Khartoum in April 2023, has created what the UN calls one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.
The army has not yet commented on the reported loss of its Al-Fashir headquarters, but its commander, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, held talks with Turkish Ambassador Fatih Yildiz on issues including efforts to lift the siege of the region’s capital, according to an official statement.

Russia rescinds key nuclear treaty with US
27 Oct, 2025 16:15
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed off on a law that officially terminates a treaty with the US on the disposal of excess military-grade plutonium. Moscow suspended the accord in 2016, citing Washington’s hostile policies toward Russia.
The lower house of the Russian Parliament passed the bill ending the treaty earlier this month, while the upper chamber gave it the green light last Wednesday.
The legislation took effect on Monday after Putin approved it.
The agreement, which was originally signed in September 2000, stipulated that each signatory dispose of 34 tons of military-grade plutonium that had been declared redundant for the purposes of military programs.
In October 2016, Russia suspended the accord, citing hostile actions by the US – sanctions and NATO’s eastward expansion in Europe, among other reasons.
Moscow had, however, expressed a willingness to revive it if Washington addressed its grievances.
A note accompanying the law cited a “fundamental change in circumstances,” adding that the extent of Washington’s “anti-Russian” policies has only increased in recent years.
Addressing Russian lawmakers earlier this month, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov also noted that the US had sought to change the plutonium disposal protocols.
Moscow objected, expressing concerns that the radioactive materials could potentially be disinterred and reused, the diplomat said.
During US President Donald Trump’s first term in office, Washington withdrew from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, as well as the 1992 Open Skies Treaty.
Last month, Putin lamented that “step by step, the system of Soviet-American and Russian-American agreements on nuclear missile and strategic defensive arms control was almost completely dismantled.”
He stated that Russia was prepared to continue abiding by the central limitations of the New START Treaty – the only remaining arms control agreement between Moscow and Washington – for one year after it expires on February 5, 2026.
In force since 2011, the treaty limits the US and Russia to no more than 1,550 deployed strategic nuclear warheads.
Responding to Putin’s proposal in early October, Trump hailed it as a “good idea.”

Gun and drone street battles rage in key city of Pokrovsk infiltrated by 200 Russian soldiers, says Ukraine
Mon 27 October 2025 at 8:07 am GMT-7
Gun and drone street battles are taking place in the key city of Pokrovsk infiltrated by around 200 Russian soldiers, say Ukrainian defence chiefs.
Ukraine is rushing to strengthen its positions in the strategic eastern city in the Donetsk province of the Donbas region.
After Vladimir Putin again snubbed Donald Trump’s moves for a peace deal to end the Ukraine war, Russian troops have renewed their attempts to take the key logistical hub, Kyiv officials say.
The 7th Rapid Response Unit of Ukraine’s airborne troops said that the positions in the city have been strengthened in recent days as urban fighting continues.
“The occupiers, who have entered the city, are not trying to take hold, but intend to advance further north,” the unit said in a Facebook post.
“In doing so, the enemy wants to disperse our defence forces and block land logistics corridors.”
Ukraine’s General Staff military chiefs said around 200 Russian soldiers had infiltrated into Pokrovsk in small infantry groups.
“Rifle battles continue in the settlement, UAV (drone) units are actively operating,” it added.
“The enemy’s attempts to advance deep and gain a foothold in the city are stopped by conducting counter-sabotage measures.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday said that Russia has concentrated its main strike force against Pokrovsk.
“There is fierce fighting in the city and on the approaches to the city… Logistics are difficult. But we must continue to destroy the occupiers,” he said.
The Russian defence ministry said on Monday that its assault groups were trying to advance near the train station in the city.
Russia has been trying to occupy Pokrovsk, a key part of Kyiv’s defensive lines, for months, seeing it as a crucial point for its push to fully capture the Donetsk region.
Mr Zelensky, citing Ukrainian intelligence, told US media outlet Axios that Vladimir Putin had privately claimed that Moscow would capture the entire Donbas, comprising Donetsk and Luhansk regions, by October 15.
Over the past week, Ukrainian open-source mapping project Deep State expanded the grey area to the southwest of Pokrovsk and now shows around one-fifth of the city’s west and south as contested area.
Russia controls about 75% of the Donetsk region. About 2,548 square miles is still under Ukraine’s control.
Putin’s army is gradually seizing more territory in the Donbas, while suffering heavy losses.
British Defence Secretary John Healey says the Russian president’s war in Ukraine, launched in February 2022, has led to more than a million Russian soldiers being “lost,” killed or wounded.
The UK is urging allies to supply more long-range weapons to Kyiv to bolster Ukraine’s war effort.
Ukraine has sought to hit Putin’s war machine by targeting oil sites deep inside Russia with drone strikes, with some of these aircraft flying 1250 miles on missions.
Trump has floated supplying Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, to force Putin to the negotiating table, but has not followed through on the plan.

Defense Ministry signs contract with manufacturers of ground robots
October 27, 2025, 09:16 AM
Ukraine's Defense Ministry’s Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) concluded contracts with producers of ground robotic complexes (GRC) to equip the Defense Forces under the Army of Drones Bonus program, the DPA reported on Oct. 27.
From now on, military personnel can independently select these assets on Brave1 Market in exchange for combat points earned for striking the enemy and receive them promptly through DOT-Chain Defence, the DPA reports.
Overall, since August under the Army of Drones Bonus program via DOT-Chain Defence, 71,000 units of equipment — including various drone types and EW systems — worth 2.8 billion hryvnias ($66.5 million) have been delivered to the troops.
Reference: The new Army of Drones Bonus model launched in August and is based on integrating the IT systems Delta, DOT-Chain Defence, and Brave1 Market.
It works as follows: troops earn points for destroying and hitting enemy targets and exchange them for needed drones and equipment to fulfill combat tasks — on the Brave1 Market, via authorization in DELTA.
Supply is handled by the Defense Procurement Agency through DOT-Chain Defence.
DOT-Chain Defence was developed by the State Logistics Operator of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense in partnership with the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO), with support from Germany's Ministry of Defense.
It was previously reported that a pilot launch of the DOT-Chain Defence arms marketplace is starting in Ukraine. For this, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense allocated 1 billion hryvnias ($23.7 million) to the Defense Procurement Agency.
In October 2025, it was reported that troops will be able to customize drones to their needs on DOT-Chain Defence.

Rubio says 'all mediators agree' Israel's Gaza strike on PIJ terrorist was justified self-defense
Updated: OCTOBER 27, 2025 18:44
The ongoing ceasefire in Gaza does not obligate Israel to refrain from taking defensive action, United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, addressing Israel's Saturday strike on a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist in central Gaza.
Rubio's comments came as he accompanied US President Donald Trump on an Air Force One flight on Monday night.
Rubio defended the strike, stating that "all of the mediators agree" that they "don't view [the strike] as a violation of the ceasefire."
In the ceasefire deal negotiations, "Israel didn't surrender its right to self-defense. Obviously, the ceasefire is based on obligations on both sides," Rubio elaborated, "Israel has a right to self-defense, terrorist activity is an imminent threat to Israel."
Rubio also expressed to reporters present on Air Force One that ceasefire mediators would "also like to see Hamas speed up the return of hostage bodies," emphasizing that of the 13 hostages whose remains have not yet been returned from Gaza, two are American citizens.
Details of Saturday's strike
The target of the strike, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist in the Nuseirat area in central Gaza, had been planning to carry out an attack on Israeli forces, according to the IDF.
The IDF deployed troops in the area in accordance with the guidelines of the ceasefire deal, which requires Israeli forces to stay behind a designated 'yellow line.'
The ceasefire guidelines also required Hamas to return all living and deceased hostages within 72 hours of implementation, a deadline that passed on October 13.

After killing hundreds of terrorists, IDF's 99th Division concludes northern Gaza operations
Updated: OCTOBER 27, 2025 17:15
Having killed hundreds of terrorists, including five Hamas battalion commanders and nine Hamas company commanders, as well as their deputies, the IDF’s 99th Division completed its mission in the northern Gaza Strip, the military announced on Monday.
Additional senior Hamas members were also reportedly eliminated during the operation.
The completion of the mission marked the end of a four-month operation, the IDF noted.
The division’s operations reportedly included dismantling hundreds of weapons storage facilities, observation posts, combat compounds, and terrorist infrastructure above and below ground, which the IDF stated resulted in "significantly degrading the enemy’s capabilities."
Seven regular and reserve brigades operated in the unit, now replaced by the 252nd Division.
Those eliminated were Hamas terrorists operating in Beit Hanun, among whom two were company commanders from the Beit Hanoun Battalion responsible for committing dozens of terror attacks against troops in the area, the military continued.
Additionally, more than one kilometer of underground Hamas tunnels was reportedly destroyed in the north during the mission.
Efforts in Gaza not over yet
Despite the IDF announcement, Defense Minister Israel Katz said last week that more than 60% of the terror group’s tunnels remain undestroyed in Gaza.
The remaining tunnels are located on both sides of the Yellow Line, the marking determining the extent of the IDF’s withdrawal as part of the Trump-led ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
The 99th Division helped establish the line and aided humanitarian efforts in the area.
The line has since drawn conflict between Israel and Hamas, with the terror group committing multiple ceasefire violations by firing an anti-tank missile and opening fire on Israeli soldiers operating near the line.
This resulted in the IDF conducting a ‘series of strikes’ against terror targets before reinforcing the ceasefire deal.
The deal has not managed to surpass its first stage, whose completion was reliant on the return of all remaining hostages held by Hamas.
In an unusual move, Israel allowed several of its members to cross the Yellow Line, alongside the Red Cross, to search for the bodies of the remaining hostages yet to be returned by the terror group.

Punjab Launches Drone Policing, Cracks Down on Illegal Arms
October 27, 2025
The Punjab government has launched an advanced drone policing system and introduced the Punjab Surrender of Illegal Arms Act 2025 to combat arms smuggling, enhance public safety, and modernize law enforcement.
The initiative marks a major shift toward digital surveillance and stricter arms regulation across the province.
The move follows growing concerns over illegal arms circulation and slow emergency response times in Punjab.
The government, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has been working on smart policing reforms aimed at improving transparency, coordination, and real-time crime tracking.
During the fourth provincial law and order meeting chaired by CM Maryam Nawaz, officials approved a pilot project for drone policing in Lahore.
These drones will provide live surveillance and immediate crime scene monitoring, with plans to expand to other districts upon successful implementation.
The Punjab Surrender of Illegal Arms Act 2025 was also approved, which includes:
Phase Key Action Details
Phase 1 Surrender of Illegal Weapons 15-day deadline for citizens to surrender illegal arms
Phase 2 Testing of Licensed Weapons Re-examination of 1 million licensed firearms
Phase 3 Enforcement & Destruction Confiscated weapons to be destroyed, with strict legal follow-up
CM Maryam Nawaz stated,
“Drone policing will not only improve our response to emergencies but also ensure that the law reaches every corner of Punjab faster and smarter.”
The government will install arms scanners at 14 major entry and exit points, and arms smuggling will now carry a penalty of up to 14 years imprisonment.
Moreover, private security firms must register under new provincial regulations, linking their guards directly with the Punjab Police Helpline 15 for coordination.
To discourage weapon proliferation, the annual arms license fee has been doubled, while a dedicated department within the Punjab Police will oversee drone and arms enforcement operations.

MCADT receives Commander’s Intent for Drone Dominance Award
10.27.2025
U.S. Marines with the Marine Corps Attack Drone Team received the Commander’s Intent for Drone Dominance Award on Oct. 10 for their contributions prior to and during the inaugural U.S. National Drone Association Crucible held Sept. 19-24 at Avon Park Air Force Range, Florida.
This recognition comes at a pivotal moment as the Marine Corps advances drone technology into its operational forces, in line with the policy goals outlined in Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s July “Unleashing U.S. Military Drone Dominance” memorandum, which emphasizes accelerating U.S. military drone capabilities.
The MCADT received the Commander’s Intent Award for their performance at the five-day USNDA Drone Crucible, demonstrating their contribution to advancing U.S. military drone dominance.
The team excelled across multiple events at the Crucible, successfully simulating modern and anticipated combat environments, including close-quarters, long-range strike, counter-small unmanned aircraft systems, and spectrum-contested conditions.
Additionally, the team contributed to plans to field thousands of first-person view attack drones beginning later this month across infantry, littoral combat team, and reconnaissance battalions in the Fleet Marine Force.
The MCADT also led the development of attack drone employment tactics, techniques, and procedures for employing these systems, including kinetic payloads with effects up to 20 kilometers.
“Through aggressive training and experimentation, and by representing the Marine Corps in inter-Service and national events, the MCADT is rapidly learning and applying lessons from modern combat to help expand our entire Corps’ warfighting advantage,” said Col. Scott Cuomo, commanding officer of Weapons Training Battalion.
At the Crucible and over the past 10 months, the team has worked closely with U.S. Special Operations Command and other Service drone experts.
This collaboration culminated in a combined FPV attack drone strike, executed consecutively by MCADT Marines, Army Rangers, and Navy SEALs.
The strike was a direct result of the strong partnership and exchange of proven strategies that have taken place between all three units, ensuring that every element of the Joint Force can maximize FPV attack drone capabilities as rapidly as possible.
“Working side-by-side with our joint partners is how we turn lessons into advantage, by sharing tactics, testing together, and rapidly fielding what works,” said Maj. Miguel Ramirez, officer in charge of the MCADT.
“The MCADT is committed to building interoperable FPV attack drone capabilities that make every warfighter more lethal, increase survivability.”
On a separate front, the MCADT is leading the Service’s first Marine Corps Attack Drone Competitions as an added component to the annual Marine Corps Marksmanship Competitions.
In line with the goal of expanding FPV expertise, during the first competition in Quantico, the MCADT is training and certifying approximately 20 Marines from The Basic School and 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion as Attack Drone Operators, along with several others to become Kinetic Payload Specialists.
These newly certified Marines will support the training of hundreds of lieutenants at The Basic School and Reserve Component Marines over the next few years, helping them employ and integrate FPV attack drones as a new weapons system within the Service’s combined-arms capability set.
A few weeks after this inaugural MCADC, the MCADT will travel to Okinawa, Japan, to train several dozen Third Marine Division Marines through competition, certifying them as FPV Attack Drone Operators and Payload Specialists.
This will bring these critical capabilities to priority units in the First Island Chain, followed by four additional competitions at the Service’s primary training bases worldwide in early 2026 and culminating in the Championship event at MCB Quantico in April.
Through a deliberate, competition-based training process modeled on the Marine Corps Shooting Team’s long-standing and successful marksmanship program, the MCADT will develop Marines capable of effectively employing FPV attack drones.

Pope Leo's astronomer says he would baptise an alien into Catholic church
18:36, 26 Oct 2025
The Pope’s new astronomer says he would baptise an alien. Father Richard D'Souza conceded religion would have to ‘reimagine itself’ if mankind has first contact with ET.
But he believes ET would be one of God’s creatures and as such would be entitled to join the faith. The cleric has just been appointed chief astronomer to Pope Leo XIV.
His role as the new director of the Vatican Observatory in Castel Gandolfo near Rome puts him at the spot where religious belief and scientific understanding meet.
Father Richard, 47, accepted finding intelligent extraterrestrial life would have a seismic impact on religion and the history of mankind. But he would welcome aliens into the Catholic church.
Asked if he would perform an alien baptism he replied: “Yes, yes. Theology would have to reimagine itself and take into consideration these other beings.
“They are all part of God's creation.
“They would be children of God.
“I believe in a benevolent Creator. He is behind everything.”
He said there would be some practical hurdles to overcome before he could carry out the ceremony..
“We do believe that baptism has to be in presence,” he said.
“The question would be how to reach them or how they would reach us.
“These are the practical problems to solve before we even talk about baptism.”
The India-born cleric studied theology and philosophy before being ordained as Jesuit priest in 2011.
He studied for a degree in physics and a master's at Heidelberg University before joining a post-doctoral programme at Michigan University.
Since joining the Vatican Observatory in 2016 he has published papers in numerous scientific journals and now has an asteroid named after him.
The vast rock, said to be the size of Manhattan, is called D'Souza 27397 and is orbiting around the Solar System's asteroid belt somewhere between Mars and Jupiter.
Asked how it felt to have his name used he said: “It was a nice feeling, it is an honour.
“Asteroids are the only things you can name after a person.
“I have discovered galaxies but I can't name them after myself or indeed anybody else. That's the convention.”
Father D’Souza said his new role like that of an Indiana Jones-style explorer.
“I become a galactic archaeologist and I try to infer the past history of a galaxy,” he said.
As such he said it was important to address the issue of aliens as the hunt for ET gathers pace around the world.
He expects boffins to be able to discover if alien life exists ‘in the next 30 years’ because ‘science is pushing for that’.
But he said whether or not that was ‘intelligent life’ was ‘another question’.
“We have historically looked for signals coming from outer space and over the last 30 years we have found none. None,” he added.

Missouri Man Spots Mysterious Orange Orbs Racing Across Sky
October 27, 2025
It seems like there's a crescendo of strange sky sights over Missouri lately.
You can add yet another to the growing list as a Missouri man swears he saw multiple orange orbs do a dance above him easily traveling more than 250 mph.
The National UFO Reporting Center says this close encounter of the Missouri kind happened over Stockton the night of October 20, 2025
According to his report submitted to the NUFORC site, a Missouri dude saw strange things happening above him near Stockton, Missouri around 10:15pm on October 20, 2025. Here is what he said he saw:
"While overlooking a large field with trees far off in the distance multiple orange orbs appeared in the sky above the tree line they faded in got very bright and then would vanish in thin air like they faded out.
This happened multiple times over the course of about 20 minutes. Sometimes it was one at a time sometimes it was multiple orbs at the same time that would dance around each other in unnatural patterns."
His strange UFO encounter then became even more bizarre
He goes on to say that there were 7 orbs that appeared near the end of his sighting with 3 of them in a triangle formation while "the others playfully danced around the brighter 3".
After that happened, they each disappeared one by one. How odd. He estimates that he was within a half mile of the objects and he also added that animals near him seem to be reacting, too.
What did he see?
Stockton, Missouri isn't that far from Whiteman Air Force Base, but what he described doesn't sound like any known flying object I'm aware of.
It's situated about an hour to the northwest of Springfield and an hour and a half south of Whiteman. By definition, he saw unidentified flying objects. What they really were are anyone's guess.

Vril Maidens and Antarctic Germans - ROBERT SEPEHR
Oct 25, 2025
There has been a lot of speculation regarding alleged advanced anti-gravitic technology following the second world war, with some claiming the establishment of a secret space program based on these technological breakthroughs.
A number of German scientists were said to have been incorporated by the US through Operation Paperclip, with a segment that may have escaped according to some accounts of the events surrounding Operation Highjump in Antarctica.
In 1946-47 the US military mounted Operation Highjump, the largest ever Antarctic expedition, consisting of 4,700 armed troops and 13 war ships. What did they allegedly find and why was it immediately classified and hidden from public view?
Operation Highjump's covert mission was to seek out and destroy an alleged subterranean South Polar Antarctic colony established by Germany before and during WW2 harboring scientists, alleged free energy technology and advanced propulsion craft (UFOs).

From Crash Retrievals to Consciousness: The Indigestible Truth Behind the UAP Mystery
October 24, 2025
Page 1: The Hardware Hunt Begins
For over 75 years, governments and intelligence agencies have quietly pursued one of the most elusive mysteries of our time: unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).
While public discourse has often focused on blurry photos and speculative sightings, behind closed doors, the investigation has been far more serious—and far stranger.
It began in the early 1950s, when Canadian official Wilbert Smith discovered that the U.S. was already running a deeply classified program focused on flying saucers.
In a sensitive memo, Smith noted that American authorities were interested not just in the craft but in the mental phenomena associated with them. This wasn’t a fringe idea. It was embedded in the earliest stages of secrecy.
Smith named Dr. Vannevar Bush, the wartime science czar, to head a small group studying the “modus operandi” of the saucers.
Around the same time, Dr. Eric Walker, executive secretary of the Research and Development Board, admitted attending meetings about the recovery of a flying saucer and its occupants—reportedly stored at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
When asked about MJ-12, the legendary secret group, Walker said he’d known about them for 40 years. These early confirmations lend weight to the idea that crash retrievals and compartmented programs were real.
The hunt for wreckage was not a myth—it was a classified mission.
Page 2: The Shift to High Strangeness
Fast forward to the 2000s. The U.S. government launched a new wave of UAP research, often through private contractors. One of the most prominent was Robert Bigelow, who spent millions studying the phenomenon.
While known for chasing hard evidence—exotic materials, reverse engineering—Bigelow also funded parapsychology research, including grants to Dean Radin in the 1990s.
This dual interest led directly to the creation of AAWSAP—the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program—funded by the Defense Intelligence Agency from 2008 to 2010.
Spearheaded by Senator Harry Reid, with support from Senator Ted Stevens (who had his own WWII sighting), AAWSAP received $22 million to study aerial phenomena, particularly those reported at Skinwalker Ranch.
Skinwalker Ranch was a hotbed of high strangeness: physical anomalies, psychic events, and bizarre animal phenomena. The justification for AAWSAP was national security—what if this activity represented a threat?
Under Bigelow’s direction, buildings were reportedly modified to store recovered UAP materials. Luis Elizondo, a key figure in later disclosure efforts, claimed these materials were “metamaterials” with isotopic ratios not found on Earth—implying off-world origin.
But the deeper shift came from James Lakatsky, who managed AAWSAP for the DIA.
After years of research, Lakatsky concluded that physical phenomena were connected to psychic phenomena—and that consciousness played a crucial role.
Page 3: Consciousness as Technology
Lakatsky defined the UAP as a technology that integrates physical and psychic elements, and that manipulates psychological and physiological parameters in the witness.
In other words, the phenomenon doesn’t just fly—it interacts with minds, tailoring experiences to individuals, and potentially influencing culture.

This reframing aligns with data from experiencer surveys. The Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Encounters (FREE) found that 14% of respondents claimed to have piloted the craft—suggesting a consciousness interface.
60% reported feeling they knew the answer to everything in the universe during their encounter—spontaneous enlightenment.
Harvard psychiatrist John Mack believed that the form the phenomenon takes may depend on the witness’s level of consciousness. The experience is reflective, not fixed.
Robert Bigelow echoed this in his “Theory of Wadow View,” suggesting that the intelligence behind the phenomenon performs absurd, physically impossible acts to grab attention and challenge our assumptions.
It’s not just surveillance—it’s messaging. Games. Performance art designed to break our reality framework.
Examples include cattle mutilations with no surgical cuts, dropped from great heights, or glowing orbs that defy physics—hovering inches from wood without burning it.
These events aren’t just strange—they’re designed to be indigestible.
Page 4: The Indigestible Truth
Tim Taylor, a high-level intelligence official, visited experiencer Chris Bledsoe not because Bledsoe was a threat—but because the phenomenon seemed to “like” him.
It was communicating with Bledsoe, not the intel officers. This suggests that connection, intent, and consciousness matter. Jim Semivan, former CIA, described the truth as “indigestible.”
He worried about how to explain to children that there’s a force that can control the environment, insert thoughts, deceive, and that we’re not in control.
The fear isn’t about technology—it’s about existential collapse.
This leads to a profound realization: the secrecy may not be about protecting advanced hardware, but about shielding humanity from a truth that could shatter our worldview.
If the phenomenon is tied to consciousness, then our understanding of reality, free will, and identity is at stake. Efforts like the Schumer-Rounds Amendment aim to manage disclosure through structured declassification.
But how do you regulate something that gives personalized psychic shows to chosen individuals? How do you schedule the release of a phenomenon that operates on absurdity and intention?
Page 5: The Paradigm Collision
The real breakthrough may not come from government reports—but from a shift in scientific thinking. A willingness to accept that reality is far stranger than we’re currently equipped to handle.
Max Planck once said: “A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents, but because its opponents eventually die.”
If the UAP phenomenon truly operates beyond our materialist science, what beliefs must we be willing to question—or let go of—to understand what’s really happening?
This episode isn’t just about UFOs. It’s about consciousness, culture, and the architecture of reality.
From crash retrievals to psychic manipulation, from Skinwalker Ranch to the DIA, we trace the journey of insiders who followed the evidence—and found something indigestible.
The question now is not just what the phenomenon is—but what it’s trying to teach us. And whether we’re ready to listen.
