Secretary Noem [press conference]: Since the beginning of Midway Blitz, ICE, and CBP, and our state partners, have arrested more than three thousand illegal aliens, including rapists, murderers, and gang members, that have been brought to justice.

Secretary Noem: United States Citizenship and Immigration Services is also working to fix some of these safety issues that we've been seeing across our country. They just ended a policy that allowed illegal aliens work permits, that automatically renewed those work permits without any additional vetting. That will help us get some of these CDLs out of the hands of individuals who may be driving these trucks right here today.

Secretary Noem: We are absolutely not willing to put on pause any work that we will do to keep communities safe. The fact that Governor Pritzker is asking for that [during Halloween] is shameful, and I think, unfortunate, that he doesn't recognize how important the work is that we do to make sure we're bringing criminals to justice and getting them off our streets.

Secvretary Noem: When you talk about people who left this country using the CBP Home App, those who voluntarily left, those that we have actively detained and deported, that number is over two million people since the Trump administration has come into the White House.
