rand paul is a demoralization agent on the "right".
his sole role is to gather some libertarian type followers on the right and then whip them up at just the right time to take pressure off an issue that his master want defused.
he is trying to hinder consensus building against the neocons with this move, at this time.

Trump is dividing their house, no question about it.
I trust only myself and my intuition, and I have been right about almost everything over the last couple of decades, so I don't believe I'm lost.
Trump has to keep the door open for Israel. As their leverage over the US slips, they face existential crisis. They are building to a moment of choice - either continue with their current masters, the british empire, or jump ship and join the multipolar world.
If Trump were to close the door on Israel, it would virtually assure that they stay with their masters.
Think of it this way - is it easier to beat the financial empire + israel (+ lots of others). Or, is it easier to flip israel (and flip lots of others) to collectively beat the remainder of the financial empire (the bank of england and eurpean central bank)?
the latter is why Trump keeps the door open for israel.
