My family has owned some property since 1865.

There is a home on this property and its been there for 75 years. The property has been completely paid off.

The county zoned this property commercial about 25 years ago and now the property taxes are over 10k a year and my family can't afford to live there anymore as the price of living in this city is one of the top 10 expensive in the country.

The county has tried and tried to take this property by all means, we have had to hire lawyers to defend it and now we are old and unable to fight for it anymore.

My family has had to sell several acres of this land to pay the unbelievable amount of sky rocketing property taxes.

Something has to give.

You never own anything in this country.

We are all renters.

We are going to lose this property that has been with us over 150 years over property taxes.

We just want to live on our land and be left in peace and not have to pay rent for life until it is stolen from us.
