Nicolás Maduro's Socialist Regime Sentences 65-Year-Old Physician Marggie Orozco to 30 Years in Prison for a WhatsApp Voice Message Criticizing the Regime and Urging Neighbors to Vote in the July 2024 Elections

https://gatewayhispanic.com/2025/11/nicolas-maduros-socialist-dictatorship-sentences-65-year-old/

The socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro has orchestrated a 30-year prison sentence — the maximum penalty in Venezuela — against Dr. Marggie Orozco, a 65-year-old general practitioner suffering from serious health problems

Dr. Marggie Orozco (65 years old) was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Denounced by a CLAP leader from her community in San Juan de Colón for a simple WhatsApp audio about the elections of July 28. The sentence, issued by Judge Luz Dary Moreno, is a perverse act against a person with serious health problems. Defending freedom of expression is not a crime. #16Nov

This verdict, handed down on November 17, 2025, by Judge Luz Dary Moreno of the 4th Trial Court of the Criminal Judicial Circuit in the state of Táchira, is based on fabricated charges such as “treason against the homeland,” “incitement to hatred,” and “conspiracy.”

All of this for a simple WhatsApp voice message in which Orozco criticized the irregular distribution of domestic gas cylinders by the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP) — clientelist structures loyal to Chavismo — and encouraged his neighbors to participate in the presidential elections of July 28, 2024, a process blatantly rigged by Maduro to cling to power despite the overwhelming victory of the opposition. INTERFERENCE AND CHAOS: Islam Consolidates in Haiti with 29 Mosques and Growing Conversions, Taking Advantage of the Collapse of Legitimate Authority and Progressive Silence

https://gatewayhispanic.com/2025/11/interference-chaos-islam-consolidates-haiti-29-mosques-growing/

A new and profound layer of instability looms over the already battered Republic of Haiti. Amid institutional collapse, the escalation of armed gang violence, and a humanitarian crisis that shames the international community, a silent yet deeply significant sociopolitical phenomenon is gaining strength: the exponential growth of the Islamic community.

The truth, however raw, is the only solid foundation for a society that respects order and legitimate authority.

This columnist, with more than four decades of experience observing the decline of social structures, has investigated the background that reveals an uncomfortable reality: while democratic institutions sink and public safety vanishes, a new religious and cultural influence is consolidating in this traditionally deeply Catholic and syncretic (Vodou) Caribbean nation.

It is a symptom of the dangerous vacuum left by the collapse of the State. The absence of strong central power always invites the penetration of external influences with their own agendas.

An explosive new investigative report by writers Ryan Thorpe and Chris Rufo reveals that American taxpayers in Minnesota are helping to fund terrorists in Somalia.

This is being done through a shell game that is played with our health and human services programs. Minnesota is ground zero for this fraud with Somalia because of the massive number of Somalis now living in the state.

Pennsylvania Bill - 'Jetsons Act' - Aims To Green-Light Flying Cars

https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/pennsylvania-bill-jetsons-act-aims-green-light-flying-cars

Weeks after we suggested that the next-generation Tesla Roadster could very well be the Alef "flying car," we turn our attention to Pennsylvania, which is positioning itself to join several states preparing for a world of flying cars.

Fox News reports that State Sen. Marty Flynn, of the 22nd District, has reintroduced Senate Bill 1077, also known as the Jetsons Act. This piece of legislation allows vehicles capable of driving on public roads and flying like aircraft.

Senate Bill 1077 would create a new category under state law, require registration and inspections, and apply standard traffic rules on the ground while deferring to the FAA in the air. Takeoffs and landings would be limited to approved areas.

The goal is to give flying car companies enough runway - or perhaps clarity - to law enforcement, regulators, and manufacturers ahead of the 2030s when flying cars and humanoid robots will become a common sight.

Other states, including Minnesota and New Hampshire, have already passed similar laws. Continue…

America’s Rail Merger Emergency: Will We Lead the World or Bow to Monopolies?

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025/11/21/americas-rail-merger-emergency-will-we-lead-the-world-or-bow-to-monopolies/

The following content is sponsored by the American Chemistry Council and is written by its president and CEO, Chris Jahn.

America’s economy runs on chemistry. From the medicines we take to the cars we drive, chemistry powers our way of life. But none of it moves without freight rail. Rail isn’t just a logistical detail – it’s a lifeline. And right now, that lifeline is being threatened by a merger that will lead to a coast-to-coast rail monopoly.

The stakes are enormous. The United States is second to China in chemical production. We want to be number one. Better access to competitive and reliable freight rail is key to getting us there. If we can’t move American-made chemistry efficiently, we can’t reshore manufacturing, strengthen supply chains, or win the global race for industrial leadership.

Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern want to merge into a transcontinental rail giant. If approved, one company would control nearly half of all U.S. freight traffic and more than half of chemical shipments. That’s not competition – it’s a monopoly on steroids. And history tells us what happens next: service collapses, costs skyrocket, and American manufacturers pay the price.

We’ve seen this movie before. The Union Pacific–Southern Pacific merger in 1996 promised efficiency but delivered chaos—crippling supply chains and costing billions. More recently, the Canadian Pacific–Kansas City deal sent on-time performance plunging to 26 percent. Every time railroads consolidate, the result is the same: fewer choices, higher costs, and fragile supply chains. Continue…

Pilot killed as Indian fighter jet crashes at Dubai Airshow (VIDEO)

The Tejas aircraft plummeted to the ground during a demonstration on Friday

An Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot has been killed after his Tejas fighter jet crashed during a demonstration at the Dubai Airshow on Friday.

The IAF confirmed the incident in a post on X, writing that it “deeply regrets the loss of life and stands firmly with the bereaved family in this time of grief. A court of inquiry is being constituted, to ascertain the cause of the accident.”

A video shows the Tejas crashing midair over the Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central.

The jet had flown across the display site several times before it appeared to lose control and dive directly toward the ground, the Associated Press reported.

The single-seater light combat aircraft, developed by state-backed Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the Aeronautical Development Agency for the Indian Air Force, crashed around 2:10pm local time, according to media reports.

The Tejas is India’s first indigenously developed jet, though it has a foreign engine, according to India Today.

Tejas means “radiance” in Sanskrit. The name was officially adopted in 2003.

In September, India signed a contract worth $7.1 billion with HAL for the purchase of 97 Tejas Mk-1A light combat aircraft (LCA).

The order was placed for 68 single-seat fighter jets and 29 twin-seat trainer aircraft.

Deliveries are likely to commence in 2027-28, and were to be completed over a period of six years.

Meta ordered to pay $550 million to Spanish media outlets

https://www.rt.com/business/628085-meta-fine-spain-privacy-violations/

The ruling on publishers’ claims against the tech giant’s ad business found that the company had violated both competition and privacy rules

Spain has ruled that the US social media giant Meta Platforms pay a hefty sum after finding that the company had gained an unlawful advantage through its data practices.

The decision follows a long-running dispute involving over 80 digital media outlets which had accused Facebook’s parent company of exploiting its position in the online advertising market.

AMI, the association representing the outlets, sued in 2023, arguing that Meta’s ad practices between May 2018 and July 2023 breached competition and privacy rules by giving the company an unfair data-driven advantage.

On Thursday, a commercial court in Madrid ordered the company to pay €479 million (around $550 million) in compensation, finding that it had processed data from Facebook and Instagram users for behavioral advertising without complying with competition or data protection safeguards. AMI has said the ruling could set a precedent for similar cases, including one underway in France.

According to Associated Press, the judges said Meta’s “illicit treatment of this enormous quantity of personal data” gave it a competitive edge that domestic outlets “could not match.”

The court also noted that Meta returned to a user‑consent system in August 2023 and estimated that the company had generated at least €5.3 billion (around $5.7 billion) in ad revenue over the period in question.

Meta rejected the decision and said it would appeal, calling the case “baseless” and arguing there is “no evidence of alleged harm” to publishers. The company said the ruling misrepresents how the digital advertising industry operates.

The ruling adds to a broader clash between EU regulators and Big Tech platforms over digital competition. Last year, the European Commission fined Meta nearly €800 million (around $870 million) over practices linked to Facebook Marketplace, and earlier this year, regulators accused the company of breaching the bloc’s Digital Markets Act with a “pay or consent” advertising model that required users to accept ads or pay a subscription fee.

Court Deciding Whether Alberta Independence Group Can Hold a Referendum

https://www.theepochtimes.com/world/court-deciding-whether-alberta-independence-group-can-hold-a-referendum-5947684?ea_src=ca-frontpage&ea_med=medium-2

Legal proceedings are underway in Edmonton to decide whether an Alberta separatist group is allowed to launch a referendum on whether or not the province should separate from Canada and become a sovereign nation.

During deliberations that began Nov. 19 and are set to run to Nov. 21, Justice Colin Feasby of the Court of King’s Bench in Edmonton heard arguments from the non-profit Alberta Prosperity Project (APP) co-founder and counsel Jeffrey Rath and others about the constitutionality of allowing a referendum on Alberta independence.

The application to hold a referendum was submitted by APP executive director Mitch Sylvestre this past July and poses the question to Albertans: “Do you agree that the Province of Alberta shall become a sovereign country and cease to be a province in Canada?”

Sylvestre’s application was sent by Alberta’s chief electoral officer to the Court of the King’s Bench to evaluate constitutionality, citing uncertainty about the question’s implications for the province.

The court is now hearing from various intervenors including five First Nations, Elections Alberta, and two lawyers acting as amicus curiae, or “friends of the court.” The friends of the court are Edmonton lawyer Matthew Woodley and professor Eric Adams of the University of Alberta, who are in charge of a fact-finding role and have posed that allowing the APP to collect signatures for a potential referendum would contravene section 2(4) of the Citizen Initiative Act and therefore be unconstitutional.

In his arguments before the court, APP’s Rath said that any potential outcome of the referendum is not pertinent to the constitutionality of allowing signatures to be collected for a potential referendum. Continue…
